Ah yes haha I was too stressed by the shadow monsters to stop and read it fully I guess lol

Super fun! Only note would be that sometimes one of the big crypt sprites can spawn in front of a torch and hide it almost completely xD

Great atmosphere and very direct story, only thing that took me a bit long to figure out was the switching to the stun gun with the scroll wheel and then how to kill the boss at the end, but otherwise very fun!

Very challenging and addicting !

OO my that hits hard, very well done!

Very much enjoyed this one,  and its a great use of these assets!

Very cool! Leaderboard and adjustable sensitivity options are very nice, my only note would be to tone down the glow just a smidge, kinda hurt my eyes lol

Cute little game, love the graphics you used! Was definitely stressed when the ghosts started closing in xD

I love the trident slam down mechanic! I'm awful at platformers but this was very cute and intuitive.

This is very fun! I can definitely see the potential for more complex cards and interactions, love how fast paced the turns are but it did feel like sometimes the match was very back and forth depending on how many healing spells there were.

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely needed another couple hours to polish up things like that missing bottom collision wall haha but that's what I get for starting on the third day lol

I'm curious what the invisible walls are you mentioned? There should only be walls on the left and right of the screen and then where the fences are between each house.

Thanks! Yes definitely needs an entirely new flashlight control script haha

Thanks for checking it out!

xD

Thank you ! Wish I had had more time to animate them a little bit haha

Completely understand, the flashlight was more of a bug that I just couldn't figure out how to fix in time. I was trying to make it so you can only use it for a few seconds and that using it too long would make it stop working for like 5 seconds and to prevent spamming it I also gave it a 2 second cool down between uses. But the result I got was super unreliable for some reason and didn't seem to match those timings I wanted.

Thanks! and thanks for hosting this Jam! its the first one I've ever entered xD

This was very fun! Would make a great mobile game IMO.  Crazy how quickly it started escalating, definitely would be good to have some way of rerolling what section you're gonna be expanding into though, made it 10 rounds and then on the 11th it seemed like it shot up to a much higher point goal and I was filling out a section only connected on one edge xD

Absolutely adorable fun game, really hope you take it further!
