Wow! That's a compliment and a half - thanks. I think it may have been a smart idea to make a checkpoint every few levels, I think one checkpoint for every level is a bit much considering the level count here.

I died without eating a single snake quite a few times, and then figured out how to eat and won first try.  The difficulty curve needs work.  Cool concept, though, if you could get that working better.

You got the victory screen?
This means WAR!

This one was fun to play.  Not much more of import I have to say about it.

This was a fun one.  Controller bindings were kind of janky, but a nice touch.  A lot of very difficult games this time around.

This was a surprisingly fun game for such a simple concept.  Really addicting to try to get the puzzles together.  My only gripe is I want a ctrl + z command to undo when I fat finger stuff, and it is difficult to select the yellow square instead of the green one sometimes.

It's a great concept, but difficult to understand at first glance.  I just really want a way to exit or try again when I lose.  The music was great.

Very interesting idea for a game.  There's a lot of content and interesting information in it.  The gameplay itself was painfully slow and difficult to figure out, though.

I think grind-from-start games work better when you can do it faster on second try.  The levels are really hard because I designed them after two weeks of playtesting and I find the first 10 or so to be relatively easy.  If nobody passes level 6 I'm debating posting a video or livestreaming myself playing through the game so you can all see how far it gets.
EDIT: I think we didn't retest the levels after getting the AI to handle guns and bombs properly.  I can't get past level 9.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

We actually do have keybinds programmed for a second player.  We didn't have time to set anything worthwhile up though.

Were you playing in browser?  If so that's a known WASM problem, try running from source or using an executable

Thanks for the feedback!

Completely.

Could you please post the source code?  I'm not on windows and therefore can't play this.

If you die before the initial speech and restart, the old speech doesn't stop and you have to listen to two out of sync speeches.  First playthrough I was up to three or four speeches at the same time.

Same here

Downloaded the zip and ran main.py.  Only could move left, not right.  Jumping seemed to work fine, but I couldn't even get to a lever to test it.

Pretty good - scariest one yet

Thank you for the compliments.  The amount of time I spent on the eel's behaviour especially was probably too much.  The story was planned to be given by the old man sleeping in the hut, but I ran out of time.  As for indicators, I tried to make most of the tech in bright colors, so it would be easier to see, and the pickups bob up and down.
