Thanks for the reply! I will look into that if a config file hasnt been finished the next time I want to play :) Just played the game for the first time, even without my ideal controller it was a lot of fun (although quite a learning curve adding depth perception and camera movement on top of the classic Celeste difficulty). Looking forward to finishing this game soon.

I was wondering, what's the path of least resistance to changing the controls for this game? I'm a Mario 64 runner and I would love to play this with my N64 controller lol.

Thank you dude lol.

Fairly linear gameplay but honestly really fun! I like how you actually earn a lot of upgrades.

Feels good, I appreciate the inclusion of the tutorial. Game could stand to be a little more forgiving though.

May have been a bit lacking in polsih, but was a fun adventure game nonetheless.

I love skateboarding platformers! Reminds me of old flash games. I wish there was less of a steep learning curve bc it took a lot of experimenting on the first level before I understood how jumping worked but sick game.

Solid game - I only wish that it was longer so I had more time to use all the cool upgrades. Had a lot of fun!

For sure, I would have liked to make a full-blown shop with cool things to spend money on but I ended up having to cut it. Thanks for playing though!

Ah yes, it's the one with coots dancing - thanks for the response! ^^

This game was super fun.... I mean the WarioWare formula is just a good one lol. My only critique is that some of the mini-games it was hard to understand what to do even after playing multiple times (I still don't know how the one with the arrow works lol). But I can imagine how sick this game would be with just a little more polish in that area - awesome job.

Also wait, not sure if this is a bug or if the game just ends like this - but in the second driving section I went past the road and got softlocked driving into an infinite void. I was jumping around and spamming hiss/purr a lot to end so I'm thinking maybe I somehow skipped past a loading zone?

oh wow you also did a toy lang? that's sick, I have to check out your source lol. I used to be a programming language grad student so I love messing around with them for everything.

Sorry that you felt you lost all your progress - you should still keep item and money so you at least don't have to unlock them again - but I get that it sucks walking all the way back to wherever you were. If this was a longer game I would try to add in a checkpoint system or something.

What this game needs is an advertisement of someone playing the game in the most obviously incorrect way possible.

This game was surprisingly addictive. And the pixel art is really polished. Neat game!

You are a GIGACHAD. I concur, good job to everyone who put in time, sweat, tears to finish something. The ability to bring something to completion cant be underrated.

This game is the GOAT of Cat Litter games.

yyp is a Game Maker file right? Which version of Game Maker do you need for this?

Sad that this didn't get finished, I think the idea of code manipulation in a game is interesting.

I wish it was a little easier, but very satisfying to break stuff lol.

(1 edit)

Thank you! .... it's partly because I'm unemployed LOL.

Hey, congrats on your first published game :)

I feel like you and I are on a similar wavelength with the 2.5d. This game is sick tho, defs deserves more recognition.

I think it would be nice if the battles were a bit shorter because they get a little repetitive. But fun gameplay overall :) Felt good to whale on them.

Hats off to maybe the best game in the jam :U

Glad i killed the dust bunny. Also lmoa R.

The map strats were good.

qt game but I realized I am trash at drawing circles lmao.

that certainly was...... an experience lol

Moist should consider this as his next speedrun competition game.

Hi Otto, thanks for all your hard work :)

Took me a while to understand the controls, but truly some top-tier fishing.

Dang the music for this game is banging, and the graphics are pretty. Wild that this actually runs a GBC too.

this is fair - i really wanted to give coots some attacks and even upgrades - but i ended up having to cut it. might come back to it at some point and make a bigger version of the game tho.

Ironically i think this game gets easier (and more fun) right after the first level. :P Cute game.
