I appreciate the comment, thanks for playing, glad you found it spooky

Congrats! This might be a my machine thing, but first thing I noticed is the game window wouldn't full screen and it looked like the game sort cut off at the edges. When I walked there however I don't think that's the case.
The overall idea and mood is good. I liked the art style and the psuedo-handrawn look to everything. The close-ups were particularly well made.
For feedback, I might speed up the movement a bit and soften the walking sounds. Also more mini-games! Although they say WIP. Good work!
Thanks dude! Not sure why your controller stopped working. The two I have here worked fined provided I used the d-pad, but that's good to know for future updates. Also I wasn't able to get the controllers to work with the menu in time.
I'm not sure about getting stuck, the black blocks never disappear, they remain ever after turning black (which is used in a mechanic later in the game).
Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to play.
This is cool, I dig it!
I'm still getting hang of the new twist, but what I have played is solid. Actually when I was brainstorming I had considered a card game, but it didn't seem to go anywhere, so I was excited to see this.
Art-wise I wish the background matched the card aesthetic a bit closer. I like the pixelated sharp card illustrations and they look a little out of place against the soft painterly background art. That said, minor critique, overall cool.
Love the art! I'm a big fan of dichotomous styles like hand-drawn/digital, 2d/3D, etc. This nails it!
The level design is solid and the movement overall has a nice feel. The floating feel makes the game seems a little slow...not sure if that's a bad thing or not, I personally like a little speed in platforming, but this might be what you're going for and it would be fine if so.
Awesome work!
This is SUPER polished. The feedback I get from clicking buttons, earning money, and placing things in the scene is great. The visuals are also on point--simple, stylish, and good color scheme.
I honestly don't have a lot of critique. If I have to nit-pick I might say the learn curve is a little steep and I felt sort of thrown in without knowing what's best to do, etc. That said, easy tweak if you decide to continue pursuing.
This is really cool, I enjoyed it. The feedback I get after corrupting and getting the income (the animation and sound) is very satisfying. I could see myself goofing around in this game during down time, very fun and simple!
One minor thing I think could improve it is the resolution. The map uses such a small percentage of the screen, maybe you could enlarge it so I could better see some of the nice artwork--that would be cool. I could also see this being a mobile in which case you could organize it to better fill a vertical screen. Either way, still a great entry.
What I played was great. The audio was good as well as the overall concept. Art-wise most of the 8-bit sprites are solid--the character and some of the machines in particular. I think all it needs it a little consistency. The wall and floor sprites look like the pixels are much bigger than the other assets which creates sort of a mismatch of resolution. It might be cool to also play with some dither shading and a more limited color palette (cohesive art style).
That said, saw your post on the discord about the art style--honestly the critiques are minor and overall looks pretty good.
This is pretty neat--reminds me off a nuclear fallout Oregon Trail. I like the art style a lot especially the colors. If I had to nit-pick maybe I'd say the icons could match the same muted color scheme as the map and text. When I saw new game I thought I could play for a bit and save and come back later, but now I realize maybe you can't? So I only played for a bit and can get a little deeper into it next time. What I did play was interesting, and well written.
Good work!
Great idea! I think it's safe to say it could use more polished art, but eh, it's a game jam, so it still works. The biggest bang for your buck art wise would be a custom skybox, and a few lighting tweaks to compliment the solid colored materials.
Controls wise, the mouse was a little sensitive and jumping was kinda awkward. That said, I like the camera angle, and other that what was previously mentioned, movement felt good. I also liked the idea and can see a lot of potentials puzzles!
Not sure how you feel about the game, but it could be really fun if you continue working on it!
This is incredibly polished and I really dig the art style. I didn't get too far my first go around, but I will come back to it after reviewing more games. Great work!
I'm curious what engine/library/tools you used to create the game? If you don't want to divulge, no worries, but I'm interested how few files file the final game package had it in.
