Thanks! :D I’ve been really into platformers where there’s a main mechanic that has a lot of multi-purpose uses. Appreciate the words!

Ooo! I’ll def have to retry that when I get a chance! :D

Oh wow that’s impressive! I’m sure you’ll find a solution for it, seeing what you put out! :)

Thank you! :) Haha that is a pretty good comparison point to Super Mario World! I always liked the movement of the cape in that game, glad it reminded you of it!

This was so aorable, I don’t know how to describe this in words alone haha! The scrapbook idea was pretty nice and to see it being all interactable and you doodling into it really help sell the theme of the game to the player.

I also really like the art style; it fit really well with the game! The music was really charming as well, and the UI for the game was really clean too.

My only comment was that I think the scrapbook part doesn’t seem to impact the story too much (i.e. what you do in it); since it looks like the story progresses in a linear path. But it is a minor note; everything else was fantastic!

This was a really cute game! I liked the art style you chose for this game; I thought it fit really nicely. Kinda gave me a lot of cozy vibes to this. :)

The only thing I can think of is the minigames seemed to have repeated a few number of times? Like I gotten the one where you click on dots three times in a row? It’s a pretty minor thing though; you guys did a good job on this :)

The part where the fake izakai got me a good chuckle haha.

The “bullet” hell dodge was amusing! I did find it a little hard (which I think that was the point haha), but I did appreciate that you made the player have a lot of health and unlimited retries. I wasn’t entirely sure if dashing was really needed since I never really used it in my runs.

I also ran into some small nuances with the text overlapping each other when you restart the game as well as the player getting stuck on the side of the platform.

Overall, good job!

This is a pretty neat take on the typing game challenges! I felt that there was a lot of ambition in this project, espeically with the theming and art style.

I did run into a scenario where in the tutorial, if you don’t kill the first enemy, the game acted like you succeeded in it? Then came the part where you’re suppose to use one of your abilities, but since I didn’t kill any enemies, I couldn’t do that part of the tutorial?

Either way, I had some fun wit this project :).

Thanks for the feedback! :D Especially on the hitboxes, that was something I was struggling to find a decent balance on.

The enemies are not suppose to die when you hit them haha. The main reason is that the ghost is a bit on the weak side so it can’t actually harm anything; hence why the enemies look slightly annoyed when you bounce on them.

Glad you really liked the main mechanic!

Thanks for the feedback! Ya, that was one thing that I unfortunately got to the best of me with this game jam. Regardless, I appreciate you for checking out my game! :)

Thanks! :)
