Also, I just watched your stream for the game, and thank you for the information and guidance. It was a nice stream by the way. As far as my knowledge of development, I have been working on games for a fair amount of time and have a somewhat solid knowledge on the flow of design within the code. What I still am working on a lot as far code, is coupling and making sure the different areas of code don't mess with each other and cause bugs. It is nice to be able to hear opinions and feedback, because I do not have enough people around me to talk to about this so it starts to feel like a vacuum chamber.

Thank you, and that is what I've been working for. I was pretty busy this week and started late, so most of my time was spent on the framework for the weapons and the hiding system. Let me tell you that it was a bit of a struggle to get it to work as well as I feel it has. I learned a lot about some features that I have not used before.
Yes, the game is going in the direction of a bomberman game, but im hoping to make it more open and team based, with more strategy within the field. I have plans for different weapons that behave differently, which you choose at the beginning, and some in the field to pickup. The darker areas allow for hiding, similar to League of Legends or DOTA. Also, I havent been able to add in the health behavior and respawn ability, so I just made animation for hits. With my day job, I lost a lot of time for the jam.
This is a fun little game. I like the way it looks and feels. a couple nitpicks though, in that, there is not a way to exit the game besides exiting the game and closing on the taskbar. Overall, I loved the experience, and I applaud the work done here. If you would like you could check out my game. It's pretty bad though. My time was not used the best lol.
