Yeah I did not include a Mac version. Rookie mistake. No worries though, thx for trying.

Rated and provided feedback

Very fun game. It is interesting how it feels to me as it goes against what the theme was trying to achieve but it is an interesting take on the theme nonetheless.

Wish you added WASD controls to move my characters as it is very hard to avoid the bullets especially because they are very fast.

Wish you all the best in reaching 20 ratings :)

Thank you for trying it out.

Thank you for the kind words

Interesting concept to apply the theme. I saw a twitch streamer playing a similar game before with fireworks, reminds me of that game (can't remember its name)

Mouse sensitivity made the game a lot harder, I had this issue with multiple 3d games in this jam that did not include a setting for mouse sensitivity.

The barrels rolling around made a little bit tough to setup glorious chain explosions :)

Glad you enjoyed it, I will keep your feedback in mind for my next game.

Cool platformer that fits the theme.

I really enjoyed the art style and the music. The music reminded me of music that is played back at my home country :)

Not sure if it was just me or on my end but I did have trouble shooting sometimes, the controls did not feel responsive.

Yeah I guess when I planned the levels, my idea was to that you don't always need all of them to solve the puzzle but I can see that this can get confusing. Thanks for checking it out.

Interesting game.

Wish there was some instructions as I was stumbling around for a bit trying to understand how to play. But was not too bad as the mechanics were similar to tower based defense games.

I was confused what is the purpose of the monsters, I was able to move them around and block the enemy path but was not sure if they did anything else,

Yeah finding time for polish at the end of the jam is always hard, thank you for the feedback though.

Thank you for trying it out.

Thank you appreciate the kind words.

Cool, very interesting and unique game mechanics.

It sucks that the build was broken.

No worries :)

Got you, all good.

Wow, so many responses, so many games under 20 ratings.

I am going to try my best to play as much of them as I can but with work and other stuff, not sure if I will be able to get to all of them before the voting ends.

However, I encourage you to please help each other out and if you have submitted a post in this thread to check out other games in this thread as well that need the help to reach 20 ratings.

Sorry, I did not mean to upset you or phrase it that way. I was just not drawn to the overall game. I am looking for more gameplay mechanics when I play a game. We all enjoy different types of games I guess.

Thank you for posting the end scene. I checked it out.

Rated, congrats on completing your first game.

Awesome game, one of my favorites of the jam.

Wow, one of my favorite games of the jam. Can't believe you guys built this in one week.

I still have not solved the level yet but I am gonna go back to solve it because I am very intrigued (Don't worry you get a very high rate from me anyway)

One thing to maybe improve is the timer felt a little long especially if I am just discovering what each hack does, so I was waiting around sometimes until the timer for the hack is done.

Great game, I hope you reach 20 ratings.

Really nice game, congrats on hitting 20 ratings :)

Really nice game that matches the theme very well.

I love the simplicity of its mechanics but at the same time how much fun and intense it could be.

I was playing for a while until, this is the highest score I can get

Rated/Provided feedback. Thank you for checking out my game as well.

Rated. Cool mechanics

Really cool mechanic, simple yet fun.

Some music/soundtrack in the background would have been a nice addition.

No worries :)

First rhythm game I tried in the jam, very cool.

Love the idea, the theme tie in is not obvious right away but very interesting take on the theme.

The jump to the stage was sometimes clipping and I would not be able to get there but it was a very minor issue to me.

Overall great job.

Sure I will check it out soon.

Glad you enjoyed it, I will check out your game soon.

Thank you for the kind words, yeah I do agree some things need polishing in the game

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.

Cool entry. So far I have seen a lot of platformer games where you have to control two characters and get through obstacles. However, I think by you adding the lava/time elements in your game, it made it a lot more fun and intense.

Also I did not see controller support in the game, but when I tried it out with my controller it worked with it (though the controls were a bit strange). Did you add controller support or was that just Unity? because I found the controller control scheme a bit strange.

Overall great game. I also really enjoyed your YouTube video on making the game. You got a new subscriber :)

Thank you for the detailed feedback.

I thought about a couple of different systems and the numbers were one of them. Prop would have been better. I also though about choosing your character with the mouse, this might have also been the nicest way to do it.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you for the kind comment

Very cool game I really enjoyed the levels.

I also really liked that you included story in your game, few games have it.

Music was awesome, I loved it.

I have played a few games in the jam with similar mechanics where you control both characters at the same time with the same controls. The only difference I have seen in their games is that they did not reverse the movement for one of the characters which made it less confusing to control. But from what I can tell this seems to be part of your level design so it just takes a little bit longer to get used to.

Overall great game design.

Nice gameplay design and concepts. The puzzles felt a little bit too easy, wish there was more of them.

I have mentioned this to a few other games but I wish you went with a system where you can switch between controlling the two characters, that way you can use the same control scheme for both characters which makes it less confusing to control them.

A couple of visual issues I noticed. First the characters were not on the same level, not sure if that was intended or not?

Second it seems like the layers might have been mixed as one of them would appear on top and the other under the tall object.

One last thing I was not sure if I finshed the game or not when I reached this area as I could not move forward?

Overall nice job. Keep on developing :)
