I really like the procedural aspect of the game! I will say the game world does feel a bit empty, so a few more obstacles in the levels themselves maybe would help? Other than that it handles pretty nicely, and I like the autoscrolling concept because of the powerups you get.

I really liked the game design! The 8 direction shooting though felt kind of awkward to me - but the thematic of the lore felt really really cool. Great job!

Great game! Felt pretty fun and clean to go through, but the higher difficulties felt a bit too out of reach. Sent this to a friend of mine, and he's been racking through it though haha!

Great premise! I think it adhered to the theme well, but it ran a bit short - some more content would have done wonders.

Game is great! I absolutely love the premise, but couldn't get past the ice door after pondering for 30 mins, even after looking at other comments. I think this is an amazing literal representation of the theme, and it works great!

Wow, what a comprehensive review! I'm really glad that you went through the puzzles, and I'm more than happy to hear about your compliments about the art! The art itself definitely took the most time out of development, and I'm glad the effort wasn't wasted, haha. A lot of the levels were painstakingly designed and pen-tested, which is why there were a few less than I wished for - but even so, I feel like your compliments about the puzzles themselves makes it all worth it! :D

I'm quite thankful for all the compliments! Can definitely say we got inspired by a few other titles, so I'm glad to see these inspirations definitely got through! I mean this in the best way possible :)

Utterly gorgeous, and perfect movement.

Great game - definitely could use a lot of polish in terms of feedback (animations, hitting things, etc), but the movement itself feels very good!

Amazing! You can really see the fidelity and quality that was put into this project, it looks so ridiculously clean, and the cover art is gorgeous! The graphics imo really capture the gb feel with some nice gameplay behind it!

Amazing concept! Elevator portion was a bit too long, and jump felt a bit too high, but other than that, everything is awesome!

I totally agree with you! Both of those things were in the works, and there are tons of weapons in which we've drawn the sprites but ran out of program; most of the weapons even share the same script. The health bar is entirely my fault, I just ran out of time to put it in when I decided to during the last few hours of the jam haha. (Rip the rocket launcher where the homing missiles were literally "homes")

Thank you! It was a bit hectic, and we ended up scrapping 3 + 2 bosses due to time constraints, despite the fact that we had the majority of sprites all drawn out :)
