Hi, thanks for playing! Not sure but maybe you died cuz the pumps went to 0. Regarding the code, yea maybe it wasn't exactly keeping the spirit of the rules but as I interpreted the theme I thought we could compress the code or smth but thanks for bringing it up!  Overall, thanks for the feedback!

Gameplay was pretty good although the game was difficult. I like the art style as well! 

Really enjoyed the game and love the artstyle! The sound was pretty good as well. Only learnt after some time that you could drop bombs lol. I think the pacing could be better and faster over time as the game was pretty easy.

Thanks for playing! And yes the checkpoints are supposed to give the Player a different amount of steps so that they could reach the other checkpoint in level 4 but the checkpoint code don't really work so I plan to fix it soon
