Really fun game that slowly ramps up the difficulty well done!
First of all, I love the wordplay.
The game is a lot of fun and I'd love to keep it as a casual game on my phone - so I'd like to join the others: please make your game available as an Android app. LibGdx supports that pretty much out of the box, to my knowledge.
And I think I found a bug in the web version (android/firefox), there is a bit of an artefact in the fish texture. Maybe related to an SpriteAtlas, if you happen to use one.
Thank you for playing! Yes, I am planning to port to mobile, and it's very possible with my tech stack. I am currently fixing some mistakes I've made in development, one of which you pointed out there's a little imperfection in the sprite splitting :)

Great game! I like how each restart the little fish character changes colour :) And I love the chromatic aberration effect in the background!

Gets rather tense as more fish enter the screen at the same time.
It'd be neat if the krill got slightly larger as it ate more food.
