Gameplay was pretty good although the game was difficult. I like the art style as well!
Great use of the limitation !
Ive seen many people make the screen small but i think this game did it the best.
cool game like the art style didn't know how to navigate though and the objective but great art none the less
well executed! great use of the limitation. I did however die over and over because I didnt read the instructions and assumed wasd controls, turns out “d” is death lol.
I really like how you interpreted the limitation, the tiny pixel art is so cute! I think I would have enjoyed it more if the controls weren't mouse based as it felt really hard to navigate, which is such a shame because I really want to get further and see everything you created in the game! I wasn't always sure exactly what I was buying at the shop too.
I like the ambience, the cute chiptune sounds and the way the map isn't fully revealed :)
Really nice art style and idea but I found it a bit too difficult as I couldn't seem to get far without running out of air. Would be nice to see the rest of the game if I could survive longer :). Apart from that nice submission!
Cool concept and great use of the limitation but I found it a bit frustrating to play. The slow move speed and occasional issues with collisions mentioned below, plus the less tactile controls and the fact that background was sometimes mostly just a solid colour made it feel very unresponsive. It could also do with a bit more warning when your oxygen is getting low as death feels very sudden and unavoidable in some cases. On the upside the art and sounds are fantastic and I love the idea of the gameplay loop, like a mini-Subnautica!
Very nice and fun! However I found myself getting stuck on the edges sometimes, and would’ve liked the character to be a bit faster since I kept running out of air.
I liked your interpretation of the limitation especially. It was fun! :D
