Cute graphics. The icon at the bottom right doesn't scale with window size (setup for large window sizes) so it was difficult to play in window instead of full screen.
The game was rather easy as I kept moving around and never stopped and my meter increase at all. Possibly because I am collecting stuff as they drop, not sure. Some of the AI don't work sometimes and sometimes drops get stuck mid air or on top of other stuff.
Overall nice concept and lost of polish here.

Oh, I think it is a mistype from my end in the comment, let me adjust the comment to reflect what I wanted to say better. Sorry, I edited my comment when I was typing and didn't re-read it. I was typing something about memory (as I was taking notes when I played but forgot to erase it as I assumed something from the game and the game didn't have that aspect).
For what it is worth, the memory part is that I assumed that I needed to know where EXACTLY to jump off and where to start flying for the teleportation to work and thus the memory part of the game which I wasn't a fan off. But it was a bug I think more than anything as I couldn't find the door when I played a second time.
I went into the game 5 times so far. I tried to clean anything using LMB as instructed. Nothing. Tried to use RMB, nothing. In fact the only thing I seem to be able to do in the game is just walk around.
I tried mashing different buttons, nothing worked. Not sure if this is intended or not. But basically I didn't know what to do and whatever I did, didn't work.
I liked the idea of gliding and I really loved the way that you used it (to fly or to drop down). Was really interesting and reminded me of Ori and Will of The Wisps as it uses this mechanic heavily (and the previous one too).
The game however felt clunky since when I flew in some places I found myself teleporting to some areas. That was incredibly jarring.
The puzzle aspect was interesting but for me it felt more about just figuring where you are and flipping a switch -- I was expecting it to be more about figuring where you are based on landmarks. That said, due to perhaps a bug or something I got stuck the second time I tried the game with the second level (with 2 switches after you teleport) and I wasn't able to find the door as I kept teleporting to the same locations over and over again.
As you mentioned it doesn't feel completely "Out of Control"ish but it kinda fit it in some way.
Overall, lovely little game that might turn into a full thing with some work here and there.
Hi guys,
Not sure if this is a good place to post such threads, but given the "General" tag, I am guessing it should be fine. If not, I'll happily remove it.
I've been thinking about an idea for this contest and I have 2-3 ideas that I'd like to explore, unfortunately my artistic skills are extremely lacking and would love to team up with an artist to handle the art part while I deal with everything else.
So far what I am set on is that the game will be 2D, we'll be using Unity, develop on our free times as much as possible (I have a family and a job, as I expect that you may too).
If you're interested please reply with some samples of your work and we'll take it from there.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I am thinking of joining this game jam and it happens that I have an idea that I worked on a bit previously (but the source code is a mess so needs to be redone + I didn't get very far) that uses versatile verbs in a sense. Since I'll be working on the idea from scratch, I am looking for a 2D artist to team up with on this.
I'll be using Unity for this jam.
If you are interested, please reply back to this thread with your portfolio, timezone and your availability.
Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone.
I really like the graphics and the palette used. I also liked the idea of turn based combat. The controls were really awkward and took me quite a while to discover them.
For other players you should press "S" to unlock the "End" button selection then move using the arrow keys to move the cursor. Then select your solider with "A" and then to select the "End" button again, you press "S" again.
The game looks really cool, specially the shader -- reminds me of Prince of Persia 4. The idea seems OK but nothing completely new. I was a bit lost as what to do at the beginning then I stumbled upon the red orbs and started shooting but I wasn't sure what is going on beyond just shooting these things advancing at me.
