How does your game fit the theme?
We require players to play cards in order to use their controls. Depending on their hand and what's left in their deck, they maybe be out of certain types of controls for a period of time

Really cool idea and great visuals
Enough depth for it's complexity. Really sweet art. Very cute character. You have my approval! :)
Cool game. The last level was really interesting!
Thanks for playing! That last level was added once I realized the game was too easy T_T
I've not played a deck-strategy game this jam and this was really refreshing. I enjoyed playing through it very much and really liked the fact that you have to play your cards in order to refresh them. It forced me to really think about my positioning and what the enemies were going to do. This would work really well as a full game, with varied enemies and cards; I'd definitely play it. Great job!
Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. I hope we can continue working on this to make it a bigger project!
Neat idea (although I've played one similar entry) but the game needs to be fine tuned to provide some level of challenge - carrots don't seem to be useful as they replenish each round, and there doesn't seem to be any push to move forward.
Thanks for playing! Yes, I made a couple too many "tutorial" levels leaving basically only the last level posing any real threats.
If you don't mind me asking, when you say there isn't any push to move forward, do you mean like, 'there isn't anything stopping you from just chilling with attack cards until the enemy walks up to you'? or more of a 'there isn't much motivation to make it to the next floor'?
Thank you so much for the feedback!
This was a really clever concept, but I think it could use a bit more balancing. I felt like I spent most of my time waiting for movement cards to pop up so I could go 1-2 squares at a time. Fun idea though, and I'd love to see where it ends up if you decide to continue updating it!
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, this game needs to get bonked with a balance hammer
Decent idea, but it was a bit too easy, and there was no real ending. The music was nice, and the art assets had a lot of personality. Personally, I would reshuffle cards at the end of the turn (so you don't have 5 attacks), and maybe include more complex forms of movements that would warrant the many carrots given. Good work!
Thank you so much for playing! I really appreciate you spending the time to give the feedback! We decided to have you keep cards in your hand at the end of each turn to give the player an opportunity to plan ahead. Now that you point this out, I realize we don't have a discard option to just get rid of a card! thanks!
Neat game with a cool concept. There wasn't much strategic depth or challenge, so I would have liked some trickier enemies and room designs. I really liked the art and theming.
Yes! The theme was fun to come up with, we were considering the bunny could eat the plants for more energy too as an incentive to fight them. Balancing and level design was something I struggled with cuz we were at that 45 hour mark T_T. thanks for the feedback!
This was really fun to play 馃槃 Cool idea!
Thank you! :D
Love the art style. I liked the idea of the game as well; cards for movement and spending currency. A little too easy, but overall very cool.
Laughed at the "Doosh" sound, but it fit for some reason. Nicely done!
Thank you so much! Yeah, we didn't get to tune the balance until the very last level where I noticed it was too easy, so I just chucked in a bunch of enemies 8)
It looked great! :D the art style is really cute the spining card looked amazing xD Really cool mechanic to work over keep it up!
Thanks for playing! Animating that card was a struggle until I found out I couldn't tell which way it was spinning lol
Oh this is cool! Kinda got Gloomhaven vibes, which I dig. I think there's a lot of cool things you could do to expand on the concept and add in some extra types of cards later.
Yeah! When we were brainstorming ideas we went from limited amount of controls, to controls on cards, to deck building dungeon crawler! Thank you so much for playing!
A fun game with a cute art style.
Hey, you too!
Really cool art style and game mechanics. Definitely potential for a bigger game.
I am so glad you see the potential! This makes me excited to keep working on it! Thank you!
I like it, well done! this has a lot of potential.
Yes! I can't wait to add more to this! Thank you for playing!
Great job on the jam guys! Cutesy lil' game, pretty interesting mechanic.
:D Thanks for playing!
Nice game! I loved the pixel art, and the game idea, it is a great interpretation of the theme!
Thank you!
Nice
8) u too
An amazing game. It's fun, art and the presentation of the game is excellent and the idea is also very original. The sounds are good as well as the main theme, and the attack sound is very funny.
Haha, I'm so glad you had fun. We were cracking up at the sound effects after our friend send them to us!
Pretty fun, I would prefer the controls to be stated in-game though before beginning
Thanks for playing! Yes, I agree. We took the easy way out and just shoved it into the description >.< Didn't plan for it in the 48 hours
