Thanks for the kind words! Glad you liked it enough to want to see an expanded map! :)

Sorry about the issues, we'll hopefully patch them once the voting period ends.

Liked your project too and left it a rating, best of luck!

Thanks for checking it out, glad that the work we put in came across, even if there were issues.

The crash may be because we mapped controls to ctrl+W, which is the shortcut for close window. Oops! :) We'll hopefully have a patch up once the jam ends to fix all the issues.

Liked your project too and left it a rating, best of luck!

Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed and felt the vibe we were going for.

Sorry that there were issues with our export, it plays great in the editor I swear, haha! :)

Liked your project too and left it a rating, best of luck!

Cool Idea, and nice project! Controlling both players was a bit of a mind-bender for me, but was fun and could be neat to play with two people. Good use of the theme too!

The song you used is "Phantasy" by AGST, it's a really groovy tune, and it fit the "quirky" vibe of your game well. It was maybe a little distracting though as well, you could maybe try using some music with a similar vibe, but less "in-your-face".

all in all a really cool and unique submission. Well done!

Wow, really cool project. Nice work! I definitely had fun, and there was nice feedback for when I was caught. Nice polish with the music and sound design. You used the theme really well too!

Great work!

Wow, fantastic project! Using the shadows like this was a really cool idea, you had a great aesthetic for a puzzle game. The inspiration from Portal was very clear and endearing.

I think a very short tutorial or story element could add a lot to the game. It took me a while to figure out what I needed to do, and I didn't always understand a clear motivation or goal for each stage.

I liked the sparse, mysterious vibe, but I still think adding music to the levels could go a long way without getting rid of that.

Nicely done! I would definitely be interested in playing a fleshed-out version of this.

Nice job on adapting the concept from squid game. And Congrats on making all the assets yourself, that's a huge amount of work! I enjoyed the different looks of the levels, and the music added to that tense atmosphere really well.

I had some fun learning the pattern and trying to memorize it as I went along, but it quickly became a bit of a grind having to go through the menus after each death. It would have been more fun for me if there was a way to improve at the game more fluidly (like memorizing the pattern beforehand) so that I didn't have to go through menus each time.

I was definitely impressed with how many levels you made, great job creating so much in such a short amount of time!

Nice job! Really cool aesthetic, I think you accomplished that "mystery" vibe. Really liked the Devlog post about how you made the lights and walls work, thanks for sharing that!

I ran into some performance issues, but that may be a problem on my end.

I appreciate that the sound design is sparse and creepy, but I think you can maintain and even enhance that feeling by adding some music.

Great work making something both beautiful and intriguing in a short amount of time. Well done!

Nice work, this was a really cool project! I really liked the way you used light and shadow, as well as music, to convey the different moods.

I had some issues with mouse sensitivity and ending up out of bounds, but it wasn't too bad. The speech-to-text voices were what stood out the most to me as needing a little improvement.

All-in-all great work, you accomplished a lot in a short amount of time!

Nice Job! Great work using the theme. Really cool atmosphere too! The music and art style really set the mood.

It seems like a little tweaking of the system that forms the sentences could really take things to the next level. I'd love to see an idea like this expanded upon, outside of a jam. Well done!

Wow, nice work! All of the art and sound were great, and I didn't run into any technical issues while playing. Very fun and cute!

If I had to ask for an improvement, it might be something to "un-stuck" the furniture from the walls. After playing for a while I inevitably found myself with everything pressed up to the walls, and couldn't figure out how to move it again. Maybe if they bounced off the walls so you could get them un-stuck? Anyway, a very minor grievance for an excellent project, great work!

Thanks for leaving a comment SinTex! I'm glad that the effort is recognized. It's disappointing that we weren't able to get a working build up for the jam when it plays great in the editor. Hopefully we'll fix it in a future patch.

I'll be sure to give your game a rate as well, looking forward to playing it! :)

Thanks for leaving a comment! Sorry that our build is broken, it runs great in the editor, but our HTML export didn't go so smoothly. Hopefully we can fix things in a future patch. Glad you enjoyed the music, it was a lot of fun to make!

Try pressing J to access your journal and see the photos you've taken! :)

Haha, having an upgrade to an electric swatter is a great idea! Nice one!

Nice work! I had a lot of fun! Good touch adding the car so you can quickly move between areas, I had fun just crashing around in it, haha! Well done!

Thank you! Yes, you're not alone, it seems that an instructions page would go a long way. Thanks for playing!

Wow, great job! I had a great time with this one! Nice job blending the tutorial into the narrative (and making it funny too!). Bravo!

Thank you so much! And yes, it seems it does need an instruction page after all!

Great job! Good use of the theme, and a well-put-together little game! Between the trucks and the crowd, it was quite frantic, but I think that's what made it fun! Adding some music would go a long way, but you found a nice sound effect for the trucks passing. It was a little short, but considering the time crunch, I don't think that's an issue. Nice work!

Thanks so much!

Nice work! I had a lot of fun! Working against the clock added a lot to the game and kept it feeling exciting and challenging, as opposed to monotonous. Cool level design too, I appreciated the "Flappy Bird" section in level 3. If you were to keep working at this, I'd maybe ask that you give a little more TLC to the jump. It could use a little coyote time, and was super floaty (maybe we're in space? if so, maybe making a jump-pack mechanic could be a cool alternative to jumping.). But considering how little time we had, this is a really well-done project, good job!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it enough to want more, haha!

Great work! Had a lot of fun working through this one, you had a cool concept and did a good job delivering the narrative alongside the platforming! The black and white aesthetic matched the "creepy-pasta" vibes, and the game had a great look. The story was cool and tied into the theme nicely. If I had to ask for any changes, it would be to maybe add a little more polish to the platforming mechanics, like adding some coyote time. But considering the time constraints, I would say this was an excellent project. Nicely done!

Thanks so much!

Nice work! Really cool concept, and slick visuals! The difficulty is a little intense at the very beginning, though your tip of killing the first skeleton does help. Unfortunately, the "continue" button didn't seem to work for me, so every time I died I had to exit and re-launch the game to try again. Wouldn't be as big of an issue, if it wasn't for the fact that you die a LOT while figuring the game out, haha! Well done under the time constraints! If you were to keep working on this; a little polish, restart button fix, and designing a difficulty curve would really take this to the next level. Lots to be proud of here, well done!

Thanks! Glad you had fun! The original goal was to make "I am everywhere" = traveling around the world... but only completing two levels throws a wrench in that plan, haha!

Great work! and especially considering you joined late, wow, well-done working quickly! The slap sound and flashing animation were really satisfying, and the particle effects for the "bug-guts" were a really nice touch. If I were to ask for an improvement, it would probably be to add a more long-term goal... Is it a race against the clock? How many kills can you score in 2 minutes? Speedrun to 100-body count? Add health and a survival system? Something like that... All in all nicely done! I got a good laugh out of the "jump scare" fly!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Great work Jason! Good use of the theme, clean aesthetic, and smooth intuitive gameplay. I was able to get 22/4 on my first try. If I had to ask for an improvement, it would be to look into making it so the change-camera buttons appear in the direction they take you, as opposed to just pointing left or right. Lots of potential in this mechanic, well done!

Thanks Jason! Hope you got a chuckle or two out of it!
