A fun romp through space, I could see adding moving enemies along the horizontal as well. I like the idea of wrapping the enemies around the stage until they are defeated. I wonder if there's something more that can be explored with that concept. It'd be cool if enemies adjusted their formation after certain collections of enemies die. Nice work for a week jam!

Lots of atmosphere here, I couldn't figure out stage 2 but got all the rest! I couldn't quite understand the rules of the world when it came to paging between worlds as it were sometimes there seemed to be three, sometimes based on where I was. It felt like on some of them I was accidently finding a way through and not knowningly solving them. Still I had fun working through them.
First off beautiful looking game. The difficulty comes from having the players desync. Ultimately causing me to feel like it comes down to luck after that. Mirrored games like this offer a lot of interesting possiblities I can imagine how hard it is to explore those ideas within the constraints of a game jam and credit you for taking on the idea.
For a first time game development with a group of people this is a good submission. My first jam with a group the game broke hours before submission!
I couldn't tell what my button presses were doing. There was no feedback visually or with audio or something else to tell me if the timing was right. Maybe just showing a ghost of the button press where the timing is supposed to be right would help a lot to communicate to the player what is going on.
Keep going!
I love this game it reminds me so much of the Witness. I'm a big Jon Blow fan. I feel like some of the logic could use different symbolic connections and maybe the use of outlines could hint to the player what the systems are doing. Also I reaaaaaally wish there was a save system. I need to finish but have to start over again some other time to finish voting on other submission. Great work!
If you had some sort of dot system in the background to indicate grid points for the bisecting, the line players draw could snap to that, if the shapes are then aligned to that grid the chance of player/game detection error would go away. Some indication of a mistake would be good sound wise. Also the repetiviness of it could be helped with perhaps having to make multiple cuts in order to create symmetry. I think progression would be better shaped around more complex shapes to do over time with multiple cuts.
Great work!
