If you had some sort of dot system in the background to indicate grid points for the bisecting, the line players draw could snap to that, if the shapes are then aligned to that grid the chance of player/game detection error would go away. Some indication of a mistake would be good sound wise. Also the repetiviness of it could be helped with perhaps having to make multiple cuts in order to create symmetry. I think progression would be better shaped around more complex shapes to do over time with multiple cuts.
Great work!
Pretty fun game, and as a whole it's all put together really well. Nice sound effects, menu transitions, animations of the tree. The game loop is quite repetitive, so my only suggestion would be to break it up somehow, and encourage the player to keep playing. :)
Thank you all for the positive comments! I will take your feedback and will likely update the game after the jam with this and other things I wanted to implement.
cool game! sometimes the same shape is repeated twice in a row
Great and fun game. But the red button in the bottom gets in the way when you try to use a vertical line, maybe move it to the side, where will still have some space for the lines.
Very nice game. I actually thought about doing something similar myself. Only negative point is that you really need to read the itch description to understand it. An in-game tutorial whould be great for that ;)
