Amazing. Incredible. Solid contender for top game of the jam.

I loved playing this! The music made me laugh every time Halloween rolled around, and seeing a crowd of kids get spooked all at once and drop ~$400 on the ground was hilarious. That's a healthy side-business by the end, making so much money per year!
The scariest part of the game, though, is how you don't put the decorations away for the entire year - you just add more!
I really liked this game! Very smooth and satisfying to shoot at things. The audio in general had a nice weight to it when you activated doors or fired.
A couple of nits! I would maybe like to move faster and jump higher? It isn't necessary, but I found that when there were no enemies, it took a bit to traverse areas. I may not have found the Shotgun or Machine Gun, because I wasn't able to change guns to utilize any ammo I found.
This game was super pretty! Shout-out to the artist(s) for a visual feast! The characters, environments, and even the doors all flowed seamlessly together, and the colors were expertly balanced!
I had trouble at times with the 'E' key not being able to open or close doors, so I'm not sure if it was because I was standing in the wrong spot or there's something wrong with my keyboard.
Truly excellent work, everyone! Thanks so much for sharing!
The shadow lady was very scary! I was worried that she was going to hurt me, but she seems to just follow me around. I was able to pick up a few items, move around the room, open a door, and shine a pink light on things. I found a treasure chest with a combination lock but I didn't find the combination. I wasn't sure how to proceed after that, and then when I went through the door my character disappeared!
I enjoyed the ambience of the room and walking into and out of the shadows. I'm guessing that holding Shift to run lets you get away from the shadow lady in order to complete some of the puzzles.
