That was great! The art is highly proficient, and the character design is exceedingly charming. The Contraesque mechanics are intuitive and a lot of fun. The soundtrack is superb. All-around, a great game!
While the audio balance is mostly fine, it seems that the "bullet hitting enemy" sound can stack on top of itself and peak the audio above +0.0 dB.
While the use of flashing is quite tasteful and subdued in its execution, the flashing objects might warrant a flashing lights warning.

Wow! Amazing job! It feels very polished and the art style is lovely, not to mention that it felt very fun to play. And then there's a boss battle on top of that! So cool, I really enjoyed this one. Fantastic entry!
For a Windows/HTML5 game, I do appreciate how fairly accurate it is to GB specs, albeit with maaaaybe a few too many/too large sprites on-screen at once...
The run & gun action is pretty fun, the graphics are well-done, and the music in particular is Really Good! Great job!

Great game! Literally the first game I've played of the Jam, setting the bar high. Really well done with the graphics and I love the background music. It really feels like a Gameboy game. I like the little pets that you can hatch as well that fight alongside you. Well done :)

All around superb, love the character design and the little alien friends. On top of that, it felt like something that could actually be achieved on actual Game Boy hardware as well!

I really enjoyed shooting and rolling! The main character was adorable, the apron made the outfit! The little buddy was fun to watch upgrade over time!
