Hi!

I think I already know the answer to this, but I want to ask just in case to be sure.

Our idea has a mythological creature as one of the main protagonists. All it characteristics are based on the ones provided by the myths, but it's a fantasy setting with no relation to the ancient society the myth has roots.

Does it fit the theme for the jam?

Thanks

The art is soooo cuteee!
Congrats on the submittion!

Bump! We are still looking for a BG artist!

Hi!

We are a sprite artist and a writer looking to complete a team for a VN project we are working on and we plan to pulish/complete for Blossom VN Jam!

What we are looking for:

-BG artist. (Found!)

-BGM composer. (Found!)

-We might have a UI designer already.

Project Dryad (final title not defined yet) - story so far:

You, a mage, and a deserter, stumble down the canopy as you fall off into a canyon from several hundred feets up. Realising you broke your ankle upon impact, you struggle to move around before several vines start to attack from all around you. You meet a Dryad who has been looking after this undisturbed peace within this haven for decades, and is not liking her new visitor.

I don't want to reveal to much because of ++spoilers++, but we have the general structure defined. We plan to let the player have multiple choices that will end of different kind of endings.

If you want to join or know more first, feel free to contact me on discord! My user is akalimonera.

Thanks!!

UPDATED: Team found!

Hi! I'm looking to join a team as sprite artist for a small project this year! I know it's a bit late right now but I don't lose anything trying lol.

-Genres I would like to work in: yuri, fantasy, horror (no gore), historical, mistery. I'm ok with sugestive content, won't work on +18.

-I have a full-time work, so I have the idea to work on something small, no more than 3 characters.

-I would prefer not to work on projects heavily focused on romance tbh.

My portfolio with some old sprites, chibis, sprites of unfinished projects, character designs, etc.

Feel free to contact me on discord/Twitter. I go by the handle/username akalimonera.

Thanks!

Hi Ebi! I enjoyed the reading. This use of the yandere trope was a nice idea for the real focus of the VN.
I got a ...bad? ending first, it felt a bit sudden (suddenly thinking, "hell yes, Nagi will stay forever with me, she really does love me, I don't need anything else" felt weird because I, as a reader, was... "I don't trust you, I said I was happy you finally left"), but I guess it has something to do with the distress level I had at the moment.

At first, I thought Nagi would be some kind of demon, later a crazy fan, but once you advance enough, it gets really clear where it's going.

I liked the idea of the game closing after to finally deciding to wake up!

Oh! I loved this one! The combination of the 3D elements with the 2D worker great! I think the difference between the cute art style from the sprites and the simple but good made backgrounds made the scenes look like distorted memories.
I kinda knew where was this going, especially after taking the initiative in the first date part, but I loved to have something really cute and sweet between all the spooky-themed novels.
I have some issues with the "movement part". Around the second art, the CPU usage went wild. I have an i5 11400+Rtx3050 and I didn't felt lag in the graphics, but the coolers were working hard. Also, I don't know if this has to do with me using a notebook pad instead of a mouse, but sometimes the camera controls didn't work and made the "escape" moments worse lol (in a good way because I was a lot more scared).

The writing was great! One of my favorites so far! The characters had great chemic between them and their conversations felt natural and not forced at all.

Looking forward to reading more from the team!

Hi! I really liked your work! I agree with some comments below that it was kinda obvious where was it going (and I did not like the bad ending spoiling it), but I liked the twist at the end and the short story about her mother and origins.

I liked the game of guessing the name, it was easy for me because you gave the initial and because it's a famous witch's name, so there weren't many options. I only felt some hints could be introduced during the gameplay, or it would be nice to have choices to let the character explore the memories freely. I know, the time to work on it was short, but you may have it as an option for a second version of the game.

And, though English isn't my main language, I felt they were some grammar errors, especially in the first part of the story. Just a detail, that can be easily corrected.

Keep up the hard work!

Hi! Just finished reading it! It was a nice, cute, relaxing and short reading. It would be nice to have a bit more info about the Dollmaker, and some sprites for the dolls and parts too. The cat was cute!

I think the setting has the potential for a lot more! Keep up the hard work!

Hi! Just finished unlocking everything!

I enjoyed the story, although I find some little things to be a little... weak? (Sorry, my main language isn't English and it's a bit hard to express exactly what I think). I feel that the character's relationship before all this curse should be developed a bit more. I feel that Dämme was desperate, he needed support and help, but I couldn't feel that Morgen loved him while they were friends (it was a bit intentional? Because his second wish was for her to accept his proposal even if she wasn't ever truly in love with him) or that she was really all he has left. Ok, he lost his family to a fire indirectly caused by his wish, but why there was only Morgen left? He didn't really have any other things or people to care for? Why? It felt like there was a good friendship and connection, but I felt it a bit forced somehow. Sorry if I'm missing something or if I may have forgotten some lines.

The next is more a suggestion than an opinion, but it would be nice for the last scene to have an alternative besides the one related to the names. One in which Mor/Auro would be genuinely in love/manipulated and where she agreed to the process to her to gain a new body instead of her being mad and tired and all.

After all of this, I wanted to say I really loved the OST and the use of transitions, audio, text, and various elements along the gameplay! It helped a lot with the spooky vibe and helped tone the story.

The voice acting was really nice too! Specially Dämme's actor made really nice work in some lines!

Keep up the hard work!

Hi! Still searching someone for environment art?

I'm interested! I can help with both art and a bit of script! limo~#4471

Still searching for a VN team~ I will be more available starting around mid july, but I can start working on ideas and sketches. Thanks~

Thanks a lot!

Hi! I love your style! I would love to have more developed stories to work with you in a VN or similar.
Wish you luck!

Still available!

Hi! I'm interested in the spriter position. May be sound a bit ignorant from me, but you are searching specifically for someone who works with 3D models or you want someone to work with those desings as templates and do the 2D sprites? Thanks

Hi everyone!

I'm limo and I'm an artist (and writer) searching for a team to work with in a visual novel.

My main interest is to collaborate with the art of some small VN to be developed out in a time range of a least two or three months. While I enjoyed participating in the latest NaNoReno, I would rather work calmly and do my best.
My work would focus on sprites and CG. I have no experience making backgrounds, but I am interested in getting experience in them.

I offer myself both for free and paid jobs (rev share are fine), with priority on paid positions. Freelance work isn't my main income, but I think I'm getting closer to being able to do it.

The genres of my interest are mainly drama, yuri, comedy, fantasy.
It would be difficult to accept working in something from BL genre. Otome may accept, but I have hardly played games of that genre because they do catch my attention. It will depend on the history and setting.

As I mentioned, I am a writer too, so I can collaborate somehow in the desing of the script,  writing scenes, brainstorming or simply reading and giving my opinion and suggestions.
You may noticed english isn't my main language, tho.

This is the visual novel I collaborated on during NaNoReno as a sprite and CG artist.
