so cute!! 🪴

Ah, it works now! Thanks for the tip!!

I love this game so much!! But it seems to be broken right now? My browser can't play it anymore :(

Aw, this comment made my day! I'm so touched that our broken little game has positively affected so many people over the past two years <3 Thanks for playing!

This is the best sequel idea anyone has suggested lol. There's no plan to return to Chondriatic at the moment but thank you for the comment! <3

Do you mean making Shedding Velvet playable in-browser? We tried, but unfortunately we didn't code it correctly from the start to play it in-browser, so it has to be downloaded.

That's because I copied this from my youtube community post, lol. Here's a direct link: https://sirwitxh.itch.io/shedding-velvet

Thank you so much! The whole team was really excited to finish this project, so we're happy to see that people enjoy it!

Thank you for this super sweet comment! I'm so happy you still like Chondriatic! I hope you also enjoy Shedding Velvet! There's no plan for a direct Chondriatic sequel, but I definitely plan to do a lot more work involving body horror!

Oh wow, that was an incredibly little story. Really well written!!

Jokes aside, a very fun little story! I knew there would be some sort of betrayal but the nature of the twist still took me by surprise. Good job!!

And that is why you don't talk to fae, lol.

Oh wow, I really enjoyed my time playing this!! Kudos to you for making it all on your own!! The art in particular stands out so much, and gives so much charm to the world. And the world itself, wow! I wish I could've spent hours walking around in it. Such strange landscapes and characters. Really evocative work. You should be very proud of this!

//SPOILERS FOR GAME BELOW//
The one thing in the game I wasn't sure I liked is the ending where it's all revealed to be a guilt-induced nightmare due to the suicide of Erika. I kind of wish the weird magical world was real, and not just in the main character's head. But despite that, I still really enjoyed my time with the game!

Thank you so much for your kind words!!! We're aware of the audio issues and are hoping to get that sorted out in a post-voting patch! Your game also looks really cool. I'm hoping to dig into it later tonight :D

What a cute little game! I'm definitely going to have to try and get all 3 endings!

Oh this was super cute, I liked it a lot!!! I'd love it if you continued to tell Wren's story, I'm rooting for her and Thalia!!

Aww, this was super sweet. I really enjoyed it.

Really fun little game! I had a good time with this!

Thanks for playing! I do want to say the ending where the game closes was very much intentional, but considering there are some other glitches in the game like audio overlapping and a route that cuts to credits prematurely, I get that it can be difficult to determine what was intentional vs not. We're hoping to put out a patch post-voting that will clean up those issues!

Thanks for playing!! I agree we may have missed the mark slightly on the theme. I think we did well with the magical elements representing real life issues, but you're right that the world itself is lacking in realism. (And thank you for the compliments on the backgrounds, I did those!! <3)

One of those paths (the one that goes abruptly to credits) was unintentional, and we're hoping to fix it in a post-voting patch! The one where the game shuts down was very much intentional. Hopefully once we clean things up (like the audio issues where two tracks often overlap) it will become easier to tell what was intentional!

The ending where the game shuts down was intentional! Though there is also a path that abruptly leads straight to the credits while talking to the deer which wasn't ^-^;

Hopefully once the jam is over we can add a patch that cleans things up, so it's more obvious what was intentional and what wasn't! (For example, there are a lot of glitches with the music we only realized were there after the submission period ended...)

Thank you for the compliments on the art btw! We worked very hard on that!

wanted to leave a comment and say I play this all the time so thank you lol

cute!

"afterlife"

El!

what a beautiful little game, thank you for making this

That can happen if you click or use the arrow keys while on the mirror screen! your character walks away from the mirror when that happens, and you can only exit the mirror scene by clicking the same place you entered it from.

lovely work

Yes the game should tell you what ending you get at the end!

a very sweet little game... thank you for making this!

adorable!

Within the game itself it should tell you if you got the bad or true ending based off the choices you made!

very cool!

Absolutely incredible work, oh my goodness!! I got to the point where I unlocked the bonus menu, and I can't wait to get all the endings! I don't even know how to explain the feelings this game gives, it really is something special. I don't know how on earth you made it in only 10 days.

Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

Thank you very much!

Thank you for the incredibly kind words! Believe me, despite all the bugs our team is quite shocked we managed to get it done in time! It's our first time making a game, so we're really flattered by the positive attention it's gotten so far.

Fair enough lol. Thanks for giving it a try!

Thanks!
