Had a lot of fun with this and now I have a hankering to get back in to some of the tower defence games from back in the day! Great work

its so simple, very inspiring

The game was fun to play, good job!

But it does have some issues. Some QOL stuff is missing (eg. moving turrets, deleting turrets), and the wave starts immediately without giving you time to place a turret.

I liked the music, but the turret sound is obnoxious. If you place a bunch of turrets down and speed up time your ears will die xD

And like ddrosler said the levels were a bit small.

But good job! :D

Hey Thanks, alot of these seem to be common issues people are having so we'll look into fixing them!

Okay no problem!

Overall this game was pretty fun! It was a cute tower defense game and you did a great job of incorporating both themes.

The audio was fairly painful to listen to and I had to mute the game after about 10 seconds, some nicer bullet sounds would've made the game more enjoyable.

I also found it a bit frustrating that the polar bears spawned immediately, and I almost instantly lost the first level since I didn't know how to play and polar bears were already killing me.

The levels felt a little small for a tower defense game as well, I found myself just spamming shotguns as close to the entrance as possible just to speed the game up a bit.

You did an amazing job :D

Hey thanks! Also all of your criticisms are very valid and will definitely be kept in mind and if we come back to fix bugs may be accounted for.

Basic tower defense game, but maybe I'm just a sucker for the genre because I played through all five levels and enjoyed it quite a bit! I wish there had been a little more strategic variation -- the weapons just seem to differ in terms of range, fire rate, and (maybe) damage; it would be cool to have weapons that allow for synergies, like one that slows down enemies, and maybe an area of effect weapon.

Also, it appears to be 3D but we're locked into a top-down pseudo 2D view. It would be cool to be able to move the camera and get a better view of those penguins and bears! (It's hard to tell what they are from the bird's eye view.)

Also *please* add a little 5 second or so period at the start of the level before enemies come so the player can get a couple of turrets down! That was always the hardest part of each level, having to rush to stop the immediate flow.

All in all, fun! Congrats on your creation :)

First of all, thank you! and in response to some of your points "the weapons just seem to differ in terms of range, fire rate, and (maybe) damage" this is about right, a few other variables, there was some more planned but we ran out of time, "it would be cool to have weapons that allow for synergies, like one that slows down enemies, and maybe an area of effect weapon. " I've actually had someone else tell me this and I 100% agree, there was a plan for a grenade launcher but the functionality didn't work and it was too late to fix, although if I ever came/come back to the game and/or genre, I would definitely keep this in mind, "Also, it appears to be 3D but we're locked into a top-down pseudo 2D view. It would be cool to be able to move the camera and get a better view of those penguins and bears!" this is 100% true, it hadn't even crossed my mind how much it limits the experience, definitely something to keep in mind for future projects, the only issue with this would've been the fact that all objects are actually floating above the ground to allow room for the scripts to function correctly, so it would need some reworking, I would love to come back to that and try to get it to work as the movable camera is something I've always wanted to try in Unity, "Also *please* add a little 5 second or so period at the start of the level before enemies come so the player can get a couple of turrets down! That was always the hardest part of each level, having to rush to stop the immediate flow." when it comes to bug fixing I will try to add some delay or start function where it only begins once you place your first turret, as I feel this is a must for the genre, "All in all, fun! Congrats on your creation :)" Thanks a bunch, glad you enjoyed!

The game was really fun to play.
It was very satisfying to look at and i enjoyed the sounds.

Hey, thanks! Glad you think so, I think satisfaction was one of the key points we wanted to get across, possibly even more than some parts of the gameplay as it seems to be the biggest part of TD Games!

Isn't the expected outcome of a tower defense game but a surprisingly positive one! Can't wait to try your game a little later today!
