What a cool idea for a game!  Was fun to play, the visuals were really cute, and it was a good level of challenge to be engaging without being frustrating :)

One thing I wasn't quite sure of when playing was how many puddles I needed at times to quench a fire.  I got a feel for it as I played more but with that, a potential suggestion I have is that maybe it could be cool to either move to a more numerical system and make the numeric values of the fires shown some way to the player or potentially to move away from the numbers and remove the player knowing how many puddles they had.  I was thinking this way it could be fun to go up against a fire and judge just based on your size whether you think you could quench it our not.  Just an idea, but thought I'd share it :)

Overall, great job and great use of the theme!!  I'd be excited to see any new additions to it if you get the chance to develop it more!

This a pretty fun game and I think it has a lot of potential as an endless runner (I know it has levels, but that genre haha)!  Also, I thought the assets looked great!  I have a few suggestions for potential improvements if you get the chance to work more on it.  One suggestion I have is to maybe move the camera up slightly as it was little hard to time when to jump as the character model sometimes was blocking the view of the obstacles coming up.  Also, the last jumps in level 1 and level 2 were a little tight with the way the player jumped and might benefit from some difficulty adjustments.  Lastly, I thought it was really cool that you slide jump, it looked sweet!  I'm not sure if I just couldn't quite pull it off or if changing the hitbox during this maneuver just hadn't been added yet, but I think it'd be awesome if you make it through the hole when the wall and gates are on the same section using a slide jump.  Overall, impressive work especially with how quickly you worked on it, and I would love to see how the game grows with some more development and with a few things flushed out :)

Hey thanks so much for playing!  For moving magnetic objects, if you hold down "J" you can begin placing a magnet screw, and you can actually screw it in place once you have it the desired spot by releasing the "J" key.  (Also a fun little extra hint, you might try seeing if you can place the screw on a wall :).  Once you have these magnets placed, you can press Space to toggle their magnetic fields.

Also yeah, sorry if it wasn't conveyed super well haha.  We kind of ran out of time for making in-game things to teach the player the controls, and so we just added a little help page that listed some of the controls on the main menu (though it still isn't super comprehensive haha).  One of the challenges I'm finding in making games is effectively & organically teaching the player the controls and how to play the game.  It's kind of hard to know what to teach them as I have been developing it and play-testing it so much, I don't know what is easy to pick and what isn't haha.  I definitely want to try and get better at that for next time!  Thanks for the feedback and hopefully this helps!

That was a really fun time!  Kinda reminded me of the necro tank in diep.io if you've ever played that game, which was good as that is one of my favorite ones.  I think your swarm was more satisfying to build up than that as it was more fun to recruit enemies you beat.

My swarm felt so powerful by the end of it haha.  The chargers hit like a truck are very satisfying to land haha.  I also enjoyed the particle effects after the boosts :)

It got a little chaotic after about 100 kills or so and the frame rate dropped a good chunk, but it was still really fun!

Maybe if you wanted to add to more to the game, you could think about another variant of the enemies or maybe make world you and your swarm could traverse where you find different types of enemies in different parts (could feel like fun progression).

Overall, a very fun game and I enjoyed playing!

If you get the chance, I'd love to hear any feedback you have for improvements or constructive criticisms of the game I submitted as I'm trying to get better at this whole process haha

That was so fun!! The sprites and the animations were adorable!  I especially liked the falling animations after you hit the peak of your jump :)

Also the gameplay was just the right amount of challenging both in platforming and in puzzles.  Had a fun time solving the puzzles as well as pulling them off!  Also I will admit that I did die a few times before I made it through a lot of the rooms haha.

For the platforming itself, one suggestion I have is to the make jump take a little bit longer to cancel when you let go of the jump button.  Though it let's you stop on a dime (if you can stop on a dime in midair that is haha), it can feel a little jerky at times.

Seriously though, the assets were beautiful, and I had a really good time playing it!  Would be interested in playing more levels if you got the chance to make more :)

If you get the chance to play it, I would definitely be interested in hearing any sort of feedback on the gameplay, audio, or visuals of the game I submitted.  Also, seeing how good your visuals are, if you have any tips on making quality pixel art, I would love to hear it as I'm just starting haha

That was really fun!  I like that it had a little story to it, it really helped felt like an adventure as I battled the enemies haha!  The sprites had a fun feel to them as well (my favorite was the last friend with and without the helmet haha).  One suggestion I have that could be useful for gameplay would be to make it so you stay facing in the direction of the last thing you pressed to help with aiming as auto facing down made it a little hard to shoot sometimes.  Also, it could be cool to rotate the bullets depending on the direction you are shooting for some visual goodness. Overall, great job! And I had a fun time playing :)

Yeah definitely!  I was planning on playing it after work :)

Thanks so much for playing!! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)
