Ouch, sorry to hear about your trouble! I have not had any reports about this error before. It sounds like your computer is not able to play the game properly for some reason, and other than trying to restart it to see if it makes any difference i don't have many ideas.

There are two windows versions of the game available for download, maybe try the other one?

If it's still not working you should try it on another PC to see if it works there. Best of luck!

I'll let you know if I get around to it :)

There was a save bug that appeared on newer Android versions that I wasn't able to correct, so unfortunately I had to delist it. I hope to get the time and resources to fix it one day!

Hi, the version here sold on itch is the itch version. If you want the steam version you must buy it there.

Cheers, Mattis

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

I don't have a working Mac at the moment, so no immediate plans I'm afraid. The game is available for iOS, though.

Thanks, good catch! It should be added now, thanks for letting me know!

Good to hear!

Hi, sorry to hear you're having trouble. Did you try using your bracelet on the window blinds? (Right click one of the windows)

Thanks!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. The Linux version is experimental, and I don't have a Linux machine to test it out. Did you check out this thread?

https://itch.io/t/715106/issue-with-ubuntu-1804

Maybe it could be of some help?

Thanks for playing and the kind words. Glad you enjoyed it!

On Windows? Maybe it's possible to force the game to run windowed somehow? https://www.lifewire.com/computer-game-windowed-mode-837057

Hi, sorry to hear you're having sound trouble. What are your computer specs? Have you checked the volume settings inside the game (options) and on your PC? If you have other games, do you have sound there? Also, just for kicks, do a reboot and make sure you have sound working and nothing that can interrupt it running in the background. Hope you get it working!

Unfortunately I don't have a working mac at the moment, so I won't be able to create a new Mac builds in the near future. I would get in touch with itch customer support and see if a refund is possible, sorry!

Great initiative! Feel free to add my game to the bundle:

Ah, there are probably some leftover button references since this version is basically a port of the Switch version. I hear you about the inventory bar, but I don't have the time to do any changes to UI for now. Glad that it worked though! :)

Good to hear!

Good to hear, glad you enjoyed the game. Stay safe!

Hey, There is an experimental Linux version available I've compiled just now. Maybe it runs on your system? If it works, please let me know - I don't have a Linux test machine.

Hey, sorry the game isn't running on your system. I created a very quick new branch of Milkmaid and have exported a Linux x86_64 build that should be available now.

Warning: I don't have a Linux system and have little to no experience with it, so it's not been tested. But if it runs, you've got the latest and greatest version of Milkmaid available (barring the Switch version) :)

Yes, just did it now!

Enjoy! :)

Hi! The soundtrack is available on most streaming services and music download services like Spotify, Google music and Apple Music :)

Hi, I've compiled an experimental 32-bit version, please try this and see if it runs on 32-bit Windows. I don't have a 32-bit system myself, so I'm not sure if it's running as expected :)

Cool, thanks! :)

Hi guys,

I'm happy to inform you that a DRM-free version of award winning point and click adventure game Milkmaid of the Milky Way is now out on your favorite platform! Milkmaid is a retro-styled, rhyming story based puzzle adventure where you play as Ruth, a lonely milkmaid living on a remote farm in a fjord in 1920's Norway. Then aliens arrive.

https://machineboy.itch.io/milkmaid-of-the-milky-way

The game supports Windows, Mac and (experimental) Linux and is currently $4.99, a little cheaper than the Steam version (which has the soundtrack included).

The game was first released in 2017 and is a one-man-team labour of love. It has won two Game of the Year awards and been nominated for numerous international game awards. If you like adventure games and story based game you should give it a play! :)
