I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be available on itch as well.

Its a hillclimb style game so steering in this version is not really a thing, the levels are straight, you can steer to control attitude in the air of catch the cars if they get unstable. Later levels will have the ability to change lanes and steer but this is a very very early version done for a Jam so expect a lot of changes and improvements as it progresses.
Very clever game and it looks great, the detail up close on some of the objects is incredible. For me the thing that looked out of place was the reflection of the fire on the floor, it makes it look like it's floating. With proper illumination and shows this scene would look gorgeous.
Great job shame there were issues with getting it to work as I think you will miss out on some well deserved votes.
What a very slick entry.
I suck at these kind of games but watching you and others play it I can tell it’s a lot of fun for speed runners.
I was able to get round most of the game at my own speed and did really enjoy doing so. I can say with certainty that you nailed making the robot annoying!
The bow is really well implemented although one suggestion I would make would be if you hold the fire button it eventually goes into a precise aiming mode with view zooming in and bow being raised to eye level to help make those harder long shots.
The artwork is simple, clean bold which suits the game perfectly.
Great job.
I love tower defense games so this is right up my alley.
The game looks great and works faultlessly. It is hard but that fits with theme and if this was a normal game then I imagine it would start with smaller levels.
Love the look and feel. I saw an early version of this where you had the tiles moving up and down and was surprised you didn’t do this on the water to simulate waves.
Great game and I would certainly play it if was developed into a full game.
This is great game and fits the theme perfectly. Loved the bigger weapons and had a blast trying to destroy the blob. Think this could easily be developed into a very addictive game.
Couple of ideas might be smaller levels to ease the player in (hard to do for the jam because of the theme I appreciate) and maybe a couple of defensive weapons such as barriers and acid to protect what remains of the city.
Great.
Wow thanks Mel for the lovely review and for obviously really diving into the game I really really do appreciate it and cool screenies. There are a number of issues which we are addressing now but you have found a new one so on the list it goes :) We hope to have an improved version to upload after voting has closed.
We have never done Jam before and it has been a lot of fun, very useful and very rewarding. I think Chris will need a little time to recover, always harder on the programmer, but pretty sure by next year I can persuade him to do it again and I think we will try something completely different.
Anyway thanks again and hopefully today we can make some time to check out all the other games.
Love it and have loved watching you create it. You and Marcus have obviously had great fun making this and it shows in the end product. The scope for the game is huge and you pulled it off brilliantly. The game is fun and has a great sense of humor to it, it plays smoothly and is very easy to get hooked. Great job chaps.
Hey Ninjapus. Thank you so much playing the game and leaving feedback. We do have other camera angles which can be accessed using a controller using the L1 and R1 or Page Up and Page Down on the keyboard . Is there any particular angle you would like to see? We currently have the default rear 3/4 view (which does need to be adjusted as you don't see the car properly at the beginning), a side view and a helicopter chase view. There is also a mode in the game where you can set your own camera angle by pressing F1 where you can then set whatever angle and zoom you like. I do appreciate that these features are not obvious. I will update the instructions now to explain these better.
There will be an update coming on Saturday after the voting has closed and we shall make sure the cameras are improved and that keyboard and mouse control is working properly. We will also be adding an in game guide to help the player get the most from the game.
Thanks again for the feedback, much appreciated.
Fabulous software, so much easier than the programs I used back in the day. I have a couple of feature requests I would like you to consider. I would like a way to show how many times a particular character has been used in a map as this would help me cull characters that only get used a few times so are being wasted (maybe at the bottom of the Char Set window). I would also like to a char to be highlighted in the map so i can see where it is being used. To compliment this a quick replace option so I can quickly relpace one char with another char across the whole map.
Thanks though for making this software and making it fun.
