Very enjoyable once you figure out how to hit the ball of light. It could use a hint or something to let you know.

The upgrade system is very cool, but some of them seemed a bit underwhelming. It was nice to figure out which were better though. Enemy variety was also cool.

Love the idea of this game. Really creative use of the limitation.

The sound effects were funny. Also the difficulty felt very well balanced. I got 6 guys to the end.

Watching your little guys do their thing is a lot of fun.

Looks like beginnings of something good. I had a teleport mishap where I came out the other side invisible. Chalk it up to bad casting.

The notes didn't work for me, but the presentation is really good regardless. Very spooky. Nice use of lighting.

Took me a second to figure out how to really get moving but its incredibly fun once you get it.

The boss music goes so damn hard.

This will be my 3rd game jam. My first was done in pico-8 and my second in Unity. This time around I want to use Godot. I've been using it a bit lately, coding in c#, and been enjoying it. If you're interested in working in the same engine please let me know.

I'm pretty well versed in programming at this point and I've made some pixel art for other projects even though I'm not particularly great at it. I also have experience with blender if that is needed. Sound design is by far my weakest point, so that would be a major bonus team-wise.

Check out my other projects and let me know: https://malithx26.itch.io/

My discord is "malith."

Glad you had fun! There's definitely some mischief to be had if you jam yourself into the boxes.
