Thank you for trying. I wrote in the submission text but I am going to write in the game description as well: we had a technical problem, so the person who's got the Unity project had no access to internet and couldn't upload it. So I just took the FPS template and droped one of our designed levels into it as a desperate measure to have something on time. That's what we got :(

But we are going to upload the right project as soon as possible, and I hope it's gonna be in better state :)

That's a cool and fun game! I made all my way until level 10 and like the idea so far, nice song, sound effects straight to the point and nice UI.

A suggestion: I feel it became harder too fast in the first levels. Maybe if you gave more time for the player to actual learn with more than one level at the beginning, it could be helpful. One more thing, as an extra bonus: you can detect player has been trying for too long and then give some hint, such as bliking or playing a sound at the right time or the like.

Best luck to you folks!

fair point. I have added a hidden feature: if you press X, it changes camera to perspective view. But rotation is always just the platform, not the camera.

Thank you for the feedback!

a-ha! I like that! I gonna play it again :) thanks for the hint

I loved the graphics and the sound effects, also the introduction animation with story and so.

However, I actually didn't manage to find how to get over the first spikes ground, as jumping over the bricks didn't work and I found no other input control or trick to move ahead. I just kept falling on the spikes and dying. If that was the intention, ok, but that's not fun :D

Anyways, given the graphics and audio, I guess it's a good achievement for 1 week work :)

I liked the song and sound effects and the simple and clean colors. However, the controls in isometric style became irritating, as WASD moves in diagonal and that tweeked my brain.

Also, I didn't find out what's the logic when there's only 1 block ground, as sometimes I make it right and sometimes I make the wrong move but there's no clear indication what's the pattern to follow.

hey, thank you for testing and for the feedback!

indeed, I agree it didn't fit the theme so well. I can explain how I came to that: the story idea behind this game is that you're an egg trying to reach a nest in safety, where it can be born, so it gets back to an egg state and have a new challenge and so on. Then, when you'd reach the last level, the game would be back to first level with somem new trap procedurally generated.

At the end, due to time limits, I couldn't express the story well, and the "back to first level" thing is in place, but no procedurally generated traps :D that's why it seems no fit with the theme :D

My plan is to continue on the game after the voting is ended, so that I can develop those ideas. An example: for the story part, I want to introduce a grandpa or an adult rooster telling the egg things like "go boy, you can manage it, I've been at the same path in the past" and so on. Kinda nonsense, but that's the idea :D

nice catch, I oversaw it while doing a copy & paste of the component. I gonna fix it. thanks!

It feels a bit terrifying, with the dark atmosphere, and so. I actually had no fun and just found it interesting, instead. The voice is well done, and music that feels like something is about to happen, the suspicious people as wel... but then, nothing really happens, and there's a bit of frustration. I think it cool for an unfinished art work.

Anyways, good job for a week task force :D

Ha, I like it! The name fits quite well, as I kept telling myself "ok, just this one more and I will stop" and I kept for a while on it. The level names on top/left corner mean well wheat the levels feel like, and the first level works well as a tutorial. Nice job!

(1 edit)

To be honest, I didn't like so much, as I didn't manage to understand the purpose of the game and how to beat the boss made of stone.

In the other hand, the graphics and game play is quite well done and nice, and the sound also fits quite well.

I suggest you give more transparency on how to win the game, and make it not so difficult at the beginning, so players have time to understand it :)

haha, I had a lot of fun. very good design, simple and catchy. Best one I played so far in this jam :D

I got nothing to criticize :D

Good job!

Good job!

Quite interesting idea, although simple but can be explored and extended in a bunch of ways :)

One thing I disliked: the screen is too small. It couild be the double so that it would be easier to play.

Everything else is just nice and fun. Well done!!

Nice game, I fell a bit anxious as the levels were passing and the song seemed to be faster. Dashing isn't always working, or at least it's not clear when it should work or not. The trick is to combine space and arrow up multiple times to jump very high or do multiple jumps, and it adds up when snapping to a wall :D

A quite small issue I caught: beware about sprite atles to get rid of blank lines between tiles. It appeasr seldom, you must jump multiple times and reach the ground so you see it sometimes.

Well done!! :)

After the "Where I am" dialogue, I didn't find out how to continue the game.

The game has no instructions on which keys we can use to control and it's is too hard at the beginning. The art is nice, the song and sounds are quite cosy and good to hear, the UI is also cool and well done :)

very good achievement for a 48h project. really nice! congrats!

a note though: the controls seems difficult to adapt for fast reaction. It lacks WASD for instance :)

but it's still great for such a short shot :D

Fun and quite intuitive. Good job! The song is also cozy and catchy :D

I made all the way to level 10, then I got stuck, so, I wonder you may introduce something like a hint after the player is trying for some time and makes no progress.

Keep up, I want to get back and play it again :D

The UI, art and song are just great! It's impressive how that's achieved in a weekend jam :D a big congratulations for that!

In the other hand, I didn't understand the the gameplay even playing the easy mode. I used help and read below in description, so I could have a grasp, but still had a hard time to chose machines as most of times player left easlier than I had a chance. Another thing that's annoying is that we can click not only on machines but on the floor tiles as well and that makes it confusing

I can't forget to say I loved the color choices, randomic moving of the characters and complexity of the game in general.

Congrats once more, and keep up the nice work!

hi there!

it's a fun game, the art is quite good and the concept and lore fit well. I enjoy it!

I took a little to figure out the right timing for attack and deflect, so, that added up the fun for me!

In the other hand I'd be happier if I could use just keyboard instead of mouse clicks. The background sound gives impression of rain, even though it's inside a room.

But still very piece of work, in special considering it's done in a weekend! It got me playing for a while!

Congrats and keep up!! Best luck for you guys!

hi Roguetaver!

indeed it's a short game, and it's funny that we were afraid it could become "too big" for the "one room" theme :D but thank you for trying and for the feedback!

best regards!

hey there!

it's fun game, even though you guys advertised it first as not being artists, you still found a nice way and style and the art looks quite good!

it's addicting, even though it's a hard game, specially when too many monsters come at the same time.

I actually tried it in a dark room (yeah, my wife is sleeping nearby) and using touchpad, which didn't help much on my favour :D :D

so, I will try it again with a mouse at reach :D

nice job!

hi there! thank you for trying our game!

in the first room, there's a crowbar floating in the air. You have to pick it and try to destroy the brick walls nearby and get out of there!

good luck and best regards!

thank you kishikyle!

We had a lot of fun doing it together :D

Hi there,

it's a funny idea, my daughter was playing (she played all the way to the end) and was enjoying and laughing while reading the text and with the art in general.

I liked the good humor, the idea with keyboard notes, audio in general and got impressed that it had a couple of days to go through. That's a cool achievement!

I noticed two bugs on the black terminal: the letters are place in the wrong order when we press keys too fast, and one of the text got too long and broke the black box.

We had fun and I congratulate for the achievement, it's a cool game :D

keep up!

I loved the thumbnail and had a high expectation before clicked. The art is cool and the idea was quite interesting.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play the game, as once I click "Start", it shows "You Won" straight way and I can notice the player can still move (by keyboard) behind, while the monster keeps shooting fireballs, but nothing else happens.

Another issue is that screen is too big, so, at a first try on my laptop it was taking almost the double of the screen without full screen mode. When using a display, it fit well, but still was quite big.

I have a strong feeling the game is fun and enjoyable, so, I will follow and expect to play it when it's possible :D

Best luck!

Good one! I related the sprites to Celeste at a first sight. The art is nice and the UI is made with care, which is a nice achievement. I kept playing for a while and had fun with it.

I noticed that sometimes the gun stopped shooting, my first guess was that it was failing but after I imagined it could be that it ran out of ammunition. If that was the case, I'd suggest the UI to inform it anyhow.

I enjoyed the idea and the sounds as well.

Well done, keep up the good work!

I used browser. I tried again later on (I wanted to show it to my son) and that time it worked without any issue. I assume my machine was overloaded when it crashed. My laptop is actually not a good one, fyi.

Aha, I loved it! It recalled me of some of Breath of the Wild's shrines :D

I missed audio in general.

I found a bug: when my player was squizzed between a fixed structure and the rotating wall, it was expelled to the black external area, and couldn't get back. I rotated and it has falled down into emptiness, so I had to refresh browser :D

But apart from that, the game is really nice and fun. I want to finish it!

Nice job!

Whoa, I loved the art, the song, the concept, the game play, the light effects, well, it's been my favourite choice so far. A big congrats to such achievement!

I'm not sure if it's only on my machine, but it's quite heavy and crashed once, and another time it started flickering.

I have to play it more to reach the end, but for now I'm quite satisfied. I love stealth-rich games.

Keep up the good work!

Fun puzzle game! I really like the art, the characters, the colors and the concept. The song gives an interesting atmosphere as well.

At some point, it showed only a few pieces (missing some) and I was stuck, so, I had to stop playing before I wished.

It bugs me a bit when I see pixel art images resizing, as the pixels resize together and break my "perfect pixel art" expectations. I know that is a common practice, so, I take it as a perfectionism of my side, nothing you should take seriously :D

I can't forget I liked the UI with the care to let users change audio volume. That's a nice care for the player.

Keep up the nice work, I will mark to follow up, in case you have new versions later on :D

Nice and refined piece! I like almost everything: the music, the art, the colors, the website and the UI were done with care and diligence, I really like :)

However, I found the game tedious and quickly wanted to stop playing, but my daughter actually liked it and continued playing for a long time, and I realized I was just being lazy :D

In my opinion, it would be better if the game gave more feedback, such as highlighting which item has changed, when the player failed. Also would be nice if it was more generous with a second chance, and allowed us to start again from the latest level instead of starting from scratch.

Anyway, it's still a nice piece that I enjoyed looking and listening the song, so, keep doing it that you're in the right path!
