thank you for the feedback! the ghosts having a delay in movement is a fantastic idea. will update that into the game after the voting period. 

it is very difficult to escape i agree. i was going to add some knockback to the player when hit and make the player go through them. that didnt make it in cause it was kinda buggy so that what you got :) ill be fixing that up later and adding it as well. come on back and check it out when we get it further updated! 

dodge isnt really a good idea. thats not really how GB games were designed. we made a game that felt like a GB game not a modern addition. 

i had it so you moved but it felt wrong and not GB like. so it was changed back.

if you were unable to buy you were probably using the wrong buttons or you simply didnt have enough dust. ive tested and had others test with no issues.

yeah, we kinda just saw tavern and ran with it lol. Not a big deal. And yeah, the tables are the artists and I made the floors lol. Yeah...hahah. 

I agree, we had no time really for the extras. There is half the coding for trash being left behind but it got hashed out as I couldn't get it to work. Ya know, hahah. I'm not entirely sure if we will come back to this project as we are starting the next jam. Thank you for the feedback 😊 

haha thank you, yeah we all didn't look closely at the jam but it's whatever. We do them to get better anyway, not to win. We did notice that the floor and tables were too close in color but had too many other things I was trying to cram in there. Thank you for the feedback! Happy gaming!

unfortunate. I did trying it out on a few computers without issue. Did you try a different browser? 

it is supposed to be that broken. we didnt want to make the hitboxes behind the player and  the dash go forwards as that would have felt odd. i did portray it as though it was broken haha. the text isnt to be taken literal. thank you, the artist had a lot of fun with this one, and it was his first! was too good to be bad hahah. i did like it though and just went with it.  i hid them worms well ;)

so the first area is home. All you do there is collect the gold worms. It tells you that after collecting the first golden worm. I really didn't think it would be that difficult. The worms unlock levels. Your ment to play with 2 hands on the keyboards. The lobster kills himself randomly in under a minute.  Don't fight. You can walk through 90% of the game. Find hidden worms. And making him swim backward is the same as forwards. Having to hold a button makes it more challenging.

it's to collect worms. Get to the worms. I thought the giant sign was enough. Would it have been better to show it as regular text? I'm also not understanding. The player is ment to be played backwards. Idk how else to tell you. His butt is his front. All his skills are built around it. You can't progress anywhere unless you go to the overworld and collect a gold worm.  You should have found that exploring the only place you can go as it's right in front of you.  Then text explaining what to do to progress. Did none of this show? Did you not read it? Did you not find it?  Any info would be lovely.

your hitbox is behind you for your bite. As explained the first time you bite, holding b will lock your facing direction. You play the game backwards.. or is there something else? You didn't give any details as to what is confusing. 

i like it, controls are a bit rough. letting go for left or right to dash makes a bit clunky. overall love the game and will be back to give you a rating! good work my man!

Thank you for taking the time to look at our game! darn! i thought i had ironed out the restart game. and i don't think we ran into this issue either! it is a bit harsh and we thought about changing it but didn't in the end.  maybe though, in hindsight, restarting the level might have been a better option. This is our first jam and we learned a ton and appreciate all the feedback and even video!

pretty sure they locked it. might not be a good idea even if you cant as it might disqualify you if your last update is after the time set.

Thank you! we worked hard to make sure you had stuff to play with. if you have a weapon you can beat the whole game. they are placed so you will always have one. a tip for anyone saying its too hard :p though the nurse takes some timing. we really enjoyed working on this and really like the feedback as this is our first jam.

was pretty fun! i like the map designs. i ran into an issue where my cursor disappeared on level 3 and nothing would happen. shame as i was having fun. excellent work!

feels pretty nes, lacking a lot of game play mechanics though. gun has too much range and im able to clear all danger in front of me. boss was too slow and i was able to kill him without issues. the game does feel pretty good, not too slow. Good job!

yeah.. I got that. Sometimes they add others at the beginning. Probably should have asked that lol. But anyway, thanks for the...responses? Love the energy. Have fun in the jam
