I really liked this! It's really solid, even with an issue with the third level. I also really want to know how you did the colour transition in Godot, as I've been really keen to learn how to do that for my own game. Again, solid, I'm sure you'll win, or get into at least the top 5. :)

I played the two first levels.

Too bad we can't play more, there seems to even be a generation or warp system as you don't get the same levels on replay.

Everything about what's playable is very cool. The game looks specially good and the intro and intro music are super nice. The game is very pleasant to control partly due to engaging sound effects. Finally everything about how it plays make it feel like a NES game despite the, as far as I'm aware, anachronistic genre which is fine, the overall look and sounds, the actual tower and enemy sprites, the speed and the amount of things which happen on the screen.

was pretty fun! i like the map designs. i ran into an issue where my cursor disappeared on level 3 and nothing would happen. shame as i was having fun. excellent work!

The art is beautiful *-* and I like how you’ve adapted the limited NES controls into a tower defense game. Unfortunately, in level 3, the cursor bugs out and I can’t continue playing. Still, I was able to see the potential of the video game. Good job!

Love the transition effects! Very authentic NES vibes to everything. The graphics are beautiful! I saw in a comment about the wizard selection menu and that was really cool.

Unfortunately I think my game broke at 1-3. My cursor just disappeared.


It would have been cool if the wizards had visual indication of their upgrade levels. Music would have also added a lot. And I was excited for my Ice wizards but they turned out to be quite weak and slow, so a lot of monsters got past them, so a little bit of a balance issue there. Level 2 I could get over 1000 gold easily with just 6 towers :)

I attempted a second run but had the same issue on 1-3 and couldn't continue.

Great framework for a authentic NES tower defense experience! Needs a bit of polish on balance and challenge and the bug for level 3 but great start with amazing visuals! Nice game :)

The gameplay is just pressing the button many times. There should be a guide telling you to use Select(Space) for using different wizards. Although the graphics are pretty cute and the menu intro is pretty cool also.

Nice looking game! The gameplay worked for the first 2 levels but then there was no cursor on level 3 and I couldn't place anything. Seems like its really easy if you just put wizards on every spot.  I love the art, really looks and feels like it could be on the NES.
