I found this font: https://font.download/font/dicey which has pips, etc, but when I loaded it I got all sorts of errors about Null Reference Exceptions if I try to add it to the Face Template window, generally like the error below: 

I could add the font to a face using "G-K" for 1 pip to 5 pips, but "L" (6 pips) threw the above error. If it can be made to work, this font could be added as an alternative default (it contains lots of pip variants), it might solve many problems. Otherwise I might try adding an image to a face instead of a font.

I have already bought every other Unreal course offered and really wanted this one. Has anyone been able to select this course?

Sure, I can get a blender course (I have most of them too) or maths course, but I really want Unreal Adventure...

Nice game with a good music track. Quite hard for me to control, at least whilst I was trying to drive both all the time, but they tow each other, so you can focus on controlling the important one!

It is based on the boardgame Crokinole (the board geometry is similar).

No, it wasn't a bug, my aim just sucks. I definitely killed spiders with a good hit, but not a gentle touch, which seems fair!

Nice. That was fun. I got really good at rolling all the balls into the spider masses, without actually hitting any. That was the objective, right???

Haha, that is quite a spectacular score! My best is 15 so to the best of my knowledge we both hold a world record!

I was aware of the stacking issue, but couldn't find a fix, even with Z-axis locking. Perhaps I'll try reducing the impulse and the friction to make the collisions gentler without changing the feel too much. The pegs are what makes it "Crokinole" and yes, they are frustrating!

Thanks very much! The connection to the theme could only be that it is played in 2D... Pretty tenuous, I know, but I'm just glad I could make something at all! I definitely had grander plans in the beginning, including orbital mechanics, astroid belts, more randomness and levels, but in the end I just wanted to get something finished, and stretch myself a little more each opportunity.

A form of typing tutor. I liked it, very innovative and entertaining.

I didn't feel like I was prepared when playing though, I seemed to die quite quickly, but as I can't touch type I couldn't really look to see how quickly I was dying! A step-through tutorial is certainly a nice to have in a game jam, but I'd really like time to stop on the first occurance of an event so I have the time to understand it. Also, occasionally I seemed to start typing too quickly and it didn't register :(

It was fun though. I certainly gave it a few good goes and made progress.

Hey, that was nice. I like the way you addressed the theme. Simple puzzler, but satisfying. I would have liked to see a health bar on the enemy, when I was shooting it I was wondering it I actually had to just run around it, and in-game notes about the teleporting would have saved me a few seconds (I didn't go looking for the controls initially) but otherwise everything was good.

Hi,

This is not only my first Game Jam, but also the first time I have built a game for production (or finished a game for that matter). So I have mad a modest first game and built it and the UE build folder now has my game .exe and a bunch of folders. Obviously the .exe doesn't work on its own (unless it should), so which of the below folders do I need to zip up and submit?

I'm surprised to find the total size at 400MB (180MB zipped). Other than a 20MB music file it should be a really small game. The engine folder itself is 220MB. So, I'm wondering if I have packaged it properly?

The starter pack is for Unity. I assume we can use Unreal too? Is there an Unreal equivalent of the starter pack (or are they pretty transferable contents)?Thanks,
