Hey everyone! My game is not finished and won't be by the end of the jam unfortunately. But even with that, I'd appreciate feedback on this prototype-ish project, as I intend to work on it even more later on. Thank you!

Hey, that was nice. I like the way you addressed the theme. Simple puzzler, but satisfying. I would have liked to see a health bar on the enemy, when I was shooting it I was wondering it I actually had to just run around it, and in-game notes about the teleporting would have saved me a few seconds (I didn't go looking for the controls initially) but otherwise everything was good.

Thank you for playing the game! I hadn't considered the enemy health bar but it's probably a good idea and it shouldn't be too hard to implement. As for the in-game notes, that's definitely planned! I'll be adding that as soon as I'll be able to, as making a proper tutorial was one of my priorities that I wasn't able to fulfill in time. I'm glad you still thought the game was good anyways, thank you!

The browser version doesnt seem to work for me. I downloaded the game and enjoyed it alot. Though i think you should do something to prevent softlocks as i got softlocked an embarrasingly amount of times and had to quit the game and restart. A simple replay button would do just fine

Submitted

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely make sure to implement a restart button, but could I still ask where exactly you got softlocked? Maybe the level design could still use some work haha.

In the first level I was supposed to put the box on the button but my dumbass thought that im supposed to put it between the doors to make the door stuck. The box got on the other side of the doors and there was no way for me to bring it back

Had fun playing your game. Really like how you made the puzzles. Not sure if I did the first level the right way since I just teleport in the alternate dimension near the final door and got through the door without opening it. Looking forward to the updates! (Nothing happens when I pressed play in the browser though)

Thank you for playing the game! I somehow missed that first puzzle teleport haha, I should definitely fix that. As for the browser version of the game, I definitely want to look further into that... what happened when you tried running the game? Did it get stuck loading or did it not load at all? Also, what browser are you using? Thank you!

The game loaded fine. But the in-game play button doesn't work. I ran it in microsoft edge on windows 11

Submitted

I'll look further into that then, thanks

Loved it, like the concept. I kinda got lost in the laser area i think i kinda broke the game. Lol, i like it tho!

Submitted

Thank you for playing the game! I'd like to ask you further about the laser area, how did you get lost and how did you break the game? I'd like to fix the level design if it's possible.

Submitted

Hello, i teleported at the very right most side of the first level and i got ported to the laser area, from there i cannot seem to teleport anywhere or move anywhere anymore. LOL, maybe it is just me

Submitted

Yeah I found the level one skip which leads you directly to the laser area. At the start of the second level, there is an obstacle blocking the other side so it makes sense why you wouldn't be able to teleport, but it's weird to hear you can't move either. I'll look further into that, thank you.

Submitted

I can move i just cannot leave the area. Haha sorry if i said that wrongly, english can be hard for me sometimes. LOL

Submitted

Oh don't worry, english isn't my first language either haha. The second level has an object that triggers the door when shot with a laser bullet. I know that's my fault since there's no tutorial to explain that, but maybe that's the issue. Unless theres an actual bug I havent found.

Nice puzzle. The browser version does not work for me on Chrome or Firefox, but for whatever reason, it worked on Microsoft edge...

Yeah a lot of people are talking about browser issues but they're hard to fix because I can't really pin down the problem to something specific... not sure if it's an issue with Unity WebGL builds themselves. I guess I'll try to see if I find a fix eventually haha. Thanks for playing the game though!
