I had a lot of fun playing your game although it's not my usual genre.

I enjoyed my time playing. I will be completely honest, I like the idea of the theme implementation, however, at least for me I feel that it did hamper the enjoyment of the game. It was difficult for me to do what I wanted and felt sluggish. Maybe I am just bad at the game, either way I did still have a good time. I liked the vastness of the leveling system and feel that the art was nice. Overall I think it is a good game!

Very nice take on Asteroids

I'm a huge sucker for upgrade-style games, so your game is right up my alley, I loved it and had so much fun playing it! The music and SFX were really nice and quite calming, and the world was so pretty! I also thought it was interesting that we could control two different ships, one for attack and one for defense! Great job!!

As an aside, a huge congratulations on the job offer!! I know the journey to it did not come easy, but you did it! I hope you may continue to grow and learn even more in the game industry! ^^

Really good game, i like that minimalism aesthetic! Auto-aim works very well, love it! Nice job!

Liked the gameplay. The thing that bothered me, was not being able to aim were I wanted. Auto-shooting was fine, but not deciding were the shot goes, was not helping me to not get destroyed. It feels like getting hit easily. When I had more control, I think I would've had more fun than I already had.

But that is critics on a high level. The game itself is really great and you did a great job!

Like the gameplay and the music fits well.

As for the feedback, it's kinda awkward for me to play because usually, most games move with wasd and aim with arrow for this kind of game. An option to reverse the control would be wonderful. For the shield, I think making it push the asteroid further rather than destroying it will be great, as the asteroid won't drop the coin when destroyed by the shield which is wasted. And rather than time- gated end, maybe add another game mode choice where the game end when the base is destroyed is favorable.

Well, That's all my opinion. Good Game!

I'm not too much of a fan of the controls. Maybe it would be better if the player shoots automatically without having to press a movement button. But it's an interesting twist and good choice with the asteroids artstyle!

Nice music, sounds, mechanics and game in general. Since i'm learning to play piano this is a good game for me ;D.

Not sure if its intended to be like this but the smaller ships only shoots when moving. cant just aim with it, i have to move it

Well done.

Nice game with a good music track. Quite hard for me to control, at least whilst I was trying to drive both all the time, but they tow each other, so you can focus on controlling the important one!

Well done.

This is a really nicely put-together, deceptively simple game that feels like a lot of thought went into it. I enjoyed the retro Asteroids-style graphics and the chill music, and I could see this being the kind of thing I could get into a nice flow state with (once I get a little better at the controls.) Nice job!

nice game, good old arcade vibes, music is great, mechanics are correct, i get to the blue shield sort of and feel that it stuck on there.

Very well done!! Once you get the hang of dual controlling (and picking out the enemies in the screen before it's too late), it gets really fun. Most of the asteroids look like Texas to me lol.

Great work! This was very fun to play.

Great game, scored 5500, could probably do more, got used to the controls quickly since I'm good with both hands, for me, these types of games are a great brain warm-up!

Well done!

wow i really like that game! took a bit till i recognized, that the square isn’t a shield only, instead i get resources and can buy upgrades in the spawn zones .. and that there will be other spawn zones later on .. managed to get all upgrades to max on the second attempt :) very nice game! good job!

would be nice, if you would check out and rate my game and give me some feedback :)

Your game puts a cool twist on a familiar classic concept, and I love that. In its simplicity, you have even achieved a sense of exploration and discovery.

To critique, I will say that your game could use a touch more affordance. I discovered the power-up screen by accident, and was 2/3 through my timer before I realized that shooting things got me points.

Other than that, your game had tight controls, an intuitive navigation system, and a very well-unified aesthetic.

My honest feedback: The audio fits the game well and I think the kind of game you chose to create fits the theme of the game jam well. But when there's light, there's also shadow.

I can't really understand what the purpose of the ship is, it seems to me like it is just following the anchor that can be controlled with the direction keys. I had to read the comments to find out what the numbers on the asteroids actually mean, at first I thought they were the amount of points I'd get for collection. Why is the ship so hard to control in contrast to the anchor?

But I'm  glad the ship shoots automatically.

Great game, I like how you put your twist in a classic, I really enjoyed playing it.
