Any update on the navigation panel being fixed on windows? I have the same problem as the OP but on windows 10. Really like the program.

Thank you! I did plan for a lot more in-depth narrative stuff but I didn't have enough time to write it. I'd love to make a more polished version of this game with much more content someday. Stuff like... quest chains, character advancement, dungeons, in game calendar with holidays, combat abilities, inventory weight, skill checks, points of interest, vehicles, art for monsters and cities. Delivering secret letters from powerful patrons. Delivering battle plans to the front line. Delivering invitations to events that can be attended. Maybe my scope was a bit ambitious for a one week jam lol. Sorry about the poor tutorialization, it doesn't sound like you missed any mechanics though.
Thanks, we used Unity to make the game. All the dialogue content was handled with scriptable objects. TBH it is kind of a silly way of doing things because it makes writing and editing a pain. Normally I use Yarnspinner to do branching dialogue but I wasn't sure if it was allowed for the jam. I will try to check out your game if I have the time. What software did you use?
Sorry about the state of the game. We made a bunch of quality of life updates recently, so it was kind of sad to see you struggling with a bunch of stuff we fixed, like prompts explaining how to drop items and explaining fishing. You did beat the level but I hadn't implemented the prompt telling you that yet. I also rewrote and edited some of the dialogue.
Unfortunately, more content won't be added to the game, but you were super close to beating the part with the altar. Funnily enough, you got the quiz questions right without reading the stories that are supposed to give the answers.
Thanks so much for making the let's play, because of COVID we weren't able to watch people playing the game at our college expo so it was nice to get some feedback.
Thanks, it is great to hear this from a pro dev. Your team made one of the best games of the jam. My game's rating scores bum me out a bit but we did really well in popularity so I can't complain. I am planning to keep updating this game for a bit longer. Also thanks for nominating my game on that award thread.
Protip: Turn off all weapons and hang out with your clone friends.
I added this to my best games of the jam collection. The game is fun to play and the character art is great. The environments are a bit ugly due to sharp edges and tiling textures. However the the assets themselves are great looking. The strategic aspect of picking your powers is a lot of fun. Balancing the risk/reward of speed versus difficulty is a fun puzzle and great design. Also your thumbnail is hilarious.
I put this game in my best games of the jam collection. The atmosphere is great. Combat is juicy. The mechanic is elegant. Everything looks great because the designer has a clear knowledge of color and mood. The game is relaxing yet requires attention at the same time. The soundtrack is also super gorgeous.
