Please tell me how this game ends

My keys fell out of my pocket and the precise moment at which I finished the second level, which (combining the stimulus provided by the game and the sound of the keys crashing) culminated in a pleasing effect

I was very moved by the first few lines of the writing but then the role-playing elements kicked in and I was completely taken out of it.

#strawberry, "oh look a strawberry" is now indie sen-sa-tion, as they walk under the table there is too much light, thank thee

there are not many muffins in this world

hoooooooooooeeeeeeelllo

I remember it now!

I was gonna say something about the weather but then the horsie was sooooo cute, my gosh, I am blu-shing.

I no speak your language but this STUPID (picture of over-stuffed bear toy)

I died, oh well.

So this is my new favorite game. Y'all killed it - it's soooo charming. From one game dev to another, I love you.

G'day there. I have lived in Tennessee for some of the years of my life. This is all wrong. I have never seen a cactus in Tennessee (though I have seen one in Alabama) and thou wouldst be hard pressed to find a lick o' green on our lovely trees.

Did enjoy the game, but I died and this saddens me.

Thank you.

so how was AI used in the making of this game?

That's all I have to say, it went well with the 1/4 cup of tea I had left, which I downed while playing the game. My only note is that, whether this be due to a short draw-distance or if/how the 'people' were handled in an object pool, but it became obvious (especially as I levitated further into the air) that certain GameObjects were being enabled/disabled due to certain parameters and this broke the spell of the game to some extent. Ne'ertheless, I say 'well done!' to this one; have a lovely day :)

(1 edit)

the scenes have a nice rhythm to them and the 'find the egg' scene, up until actually finding the egg (because it looks a little silly), was stimulating for its short run, but I'm not sure if the game adds up to much for me. it's a plausible narrative, unfortunately close to the lived experiences of many, but the storytelling and presentation here don't feel rich or detailed enough to provoke a response beyond "this is sad."

Really loved the art direction for this, and the elliptical nature of the plot/layout of the game is rather neat!

Found it nigh-impossible to actually find the rover (as in, I didn't find it) and died after getting soft-locked in the terrain of the level. But the presentation is very strong, and I enjoyed it because of this!

Do y'all have any plans to finish this one? The absurdist qualities of this are entertaining enough as is and I would love to see y'all develop these ideas further.

I really like the direction you're heading with the art; are you planning on finishing the game, though?

Well-made asteroids clone! Tight and arcade-y, and delivers all the pleasures one would expect from a game of this sort.

more like OrcaTime, am I right? the sand texture had a pretty sexy coloring, if I do say so myself. Cannot believe you let my boy Whalen down by foregoing him in thy credits. Ne'ertheless, I enjoyed the audacity of your profoundly fishy video-game experience. Have a good one.

Very performative and snappy for the time it was made in! I like the style of the game and congratulate thee for pulling this off within the short time period.

That thing with the textures was kinda crrrazy but, even if it wasn't intentional, I kinda dug it. Good job!

Very impressive amount of content for a jam game! Congratulations for pulling this off in 48 hours; eu sunt impressed.

The art has a nice pep to it! I look forward to replaying the game once some of the bugs have been resolved.
