If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file shou,ld also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension).

Has a  neat cinematic feel to it

here's a game, I may or may not have worked on it: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-13/rate/3345359

Thank you! I was able to complete the game just now. It's fun! I appreciate the diversity 'tween the three games.

omfg thank you so much, as the person who made the soundtrack, i still do not know what to think about it

So very intriguing, my friend, but I simply don't understand what this is, how you're supposed to play it, and what is/isn't intentional about the design. Strong presentation, of course, and a good setting. What does the blue gun do? Why are the pipes constantly falling?

Have you ever been fishing before? And/or have you ever smoked? These are the questions that my friend and I are asking you.

Pleasant game!

a few thoughts.

my friend thought this was any other roguelike, i did as well so it's entertaining for sure, very functional. the only thing that i can think of that would've brought this over the moon would be a bigger, more detailed arena instead of a simple rectangle.

there's no visual indicator of whether the door is locked or not, this made the game hard to play. though, the presentation is quite polished and lovely and i think it's a good game jam entry

Fun concept, and the bones of this are there. Two things: 1) The text in the game (for the upgrades) is hard-to-impossible to read, and 2) there is no feedback given whenever you land a hit so it's a bit hard to tell if you're making progress on an enemy.

G'day to thee!

HolyCinderBlock, more like holy charm

Very difficult! The music doesn't loop, which struck me as odd because it sounds like it's supposed to. Good concept!

Doesn't quite make sense to me how these schedules are supposed to be made...1)buy tickets, 2)grab food, 3) fill gas tank, and 4) concert feels like a reasonable way to go about going to a concert. Ne'ertheless, fun game!

What are the controls?

strong concept and presentation! i liked it.

Good loooord that's hard. But a clever idea! I like the idea of playing three games at once that all use different controls. Your game is polished and highly functional, good job!

Has a weird error(?) where the fall speed attenuates as you get further into the game. There didn't seem to be an end to the level? I jumped off the UFO and then there was a great void. Fun game!

This should win haha, was along for the ride the whole time and loved the unpredictability of the game

I couldn't figure out how to go through the cave entrance in the first level

Very silly! But good job on making your first game!

Love the cartoony look of the game. I don't understand what the gameplay significance of items falling below the tightrope is. Otherwise, the controls are way more reasonable/fun to use than the premise entails, and I applaud thee on this.

This is really great! I love the hand-drawn style and also the soundtrack, the game is very low-tempo/low-intensity and I really like this about it. Question: are those your school notes?

Good balance of humor and action. The first level was a bit frustrating due to the erratic nature of the flying debris(?) but I passed it within five minutes. Didn't really see how the 'transformation into beast' thing comes into play in the second level besides affecting the animation. Yet, the style of the game is pleasing and, for once, the game caught me enjoying myself. Thank you :)

I think the art style for this is really efficient and does a good job of elevating this above 'generic 2D platformer' - it gives the game some juice. I am kind of stupid. I couldn't figure out how to beat the 3rd level. The horizontal movement is too quick and could per-haps use some smoothing. Good game!

Would love to see the code for the pink heart, I do not understand what happened there

I bet you are a very interesting person. The game is...a jumpscare. I don't know if this was intentional or not, but the render texture filled only part of the screen:

Still looked cool though. The ending was stupid but I don't think that this is a bad thing at all, it does its job, I jumped a bit and, at that moment in time, looked around to see if my roommate had just seen my reaction to that.

Have a good day!

Please make this free

fuck clickers

Please tell me how this game ends

My keys fell out of my pocket and the precise moment at which I finished the second level, which (combining the stimulus provided by the game and the sound of the keys crashing) culminated in a pleasing effect

I was very moved by the first few lines of the writing but then the role-playing elements kicked in and I was completely taken out of it.

#strawberry, "oh look a strawberry" is now indie sen-sa-tion, as they walk under the table there is too much light, thank thee
