Thanks for the feedback! I'm very glad that you enjoyed it!

I've given more thought as to how to better indicate non-movable blocks and how to expand on the concept, e.g. destructible platforms which you can only move once, etc.

I'm still surprised how hard I find it to implement new stages which aren't too "boring" compared to previous

I agree, it's one of those things that you "get used to" when developing. It used to be much much harder to find anything. Thanks a ton for the feedback!

Why is the game marked as MacOS and Linux when there's only a .exe file in the build?

I liked the artstyle! It seems there's no sound on the linux build. I had a rough time sliding under the box in the warehouse. Otherwise quite entertaining

I had a hard time with the combat, met 3 snakes and my whole party died instantly. I liked the story and where it was headed. I think having easier and faster combat would do a lot (for random encounters), or maybe I'm just not versed in this genre enough.

Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it!

I won! 10/10 boss fight, and I loved the idle animation for the squirrel

This was really good! I love the classic creepy doppelganger stories The suspense was great as well!

Haha, that's one way to do it. thanks for playing! You will find your way back ultimately if you just keep looking

You know it's a whoopsie when your client literally explodes into atoms. Really enjoyed it, the controls and pattern I had to get used to, but once it was learnt it was quite awesome! I think that would be the only thing missing is teaching the player the different patterns

There's a couple of waves of monsters you have to beat, dawn will break after and you win. They can be tough, I advise listening closely to where they are coming from and readying your bow, as soon as they show you let loose on it, should get the bugger

Saved my soul! Quick and quite fun, amazingly done for a Scratch game

Really well made, the monster spooked me good!
I really wanted to get further in the game as I really enjoy puzzles, however, the monster would just instantly follow me as soon as I went out of hiding, no matter how long I waited.

Would love to see/play a version where the monster is not as aggressive =)

This was really nice, actually spooked me once with the death sound. The platforming controls were solid but the hitboxes were unforgiving, good mix between rage game and spooks, well done!

Got a score of 6, really cute game! I have to brush up on my trick & treating

(1 edit)

I got some HP lovecraft vibes during the ending, really well done!

"The cubes Mason, what do they mean?!"

I've been pretty spooked too, had once where the death audio was glitched and played even though I had it disabled... I won't forget

Thank you so much for trying it out!

Hahaha, I've made some bullet points on the game page with some tips & tricks. My own strategy revolves around staying at the campsite since it has a clear view when monsters are coming. If you go too far, you might exit the matrix ;)
Thank you for playing!

Poor pumpkins...
Right, that sounds like a pretty good idea, maybe a "waves survived" or "waves left" would be nice as well! Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Oh nice! Yeah, the usual downside of "out of the usual" also means "outside the market", but if you enjoy the fans you got and create then you should let nothing stop you =)

It's hard to remember exactly, but somehow I got A LOT of points suddently from a bunch of the same symbols, then the game lagged a bit and when it stabilized there was just no symbols / people on the field. I could interact with the menus etc but there was just no symbols at all. Hope this helps!

Thanks, and thank you for playing!
Haha, great minds think alike ;) I will, and for me it's not all about scares and spooks, horror can be so much else

Hey! You too! Thanks for playing it and giving some feedback!

Some of them can be a bit tricky, I know the one that "jitters" around can be tough to hit especially. Sometimes, it takes 2 arrows to slay them.

Haha, I had to playtest the darn thing, I know all about it sadly
Thanks so much for checking it out, it seems like you enjoyed it and that makes me happy :)

That's alright, got on to a windows machine and played it, it was very gory

Blurp...

Really enjoyed it, was ready to be spooked every time I turned around but the atmosphere had me instead. Great work!

I couldn't play this game, I had very low framerate ( 1-5 fps ) is there a possibility of an optimized version, then I would like to try it out again!

Thanks so much for playing, it did seem like you got spooked for your moneys worth!

I've added some tips in the description based on your gameplay!

Thanks for trying it out!
I didn't think people would venture that far out haha, might need to restrict the playable area. Basically, you have to survive until dawn against waves of ghouls =) A good tip is to stay in the spawn area and listen closely!

It is, thought I had one more day for it but had misunderstood the deadline, wanted to touch up a few things but, that's also what the jam is about, whatever is the jam entry, is the jam entry.

Thanks!
I will test out your game when I get back onto a windows machine!

Very spooky, I got clapped

This was really good, I enjoyed it a lot! Had a few bugs but I'm glad you added the chapter select, it really helped!

I want to say a lot about the story but I will not spoil it for the others, played it all through at it was great. Thanks for making this

Looks good, sadly I could not play it in the browser since it didn't run very well (5-10 fps). If possible I would love an optimised (or low graphics) version

Enjoyed the art! I almost didn't make it unscrewing those bolts, pretty tense. I died first time not knowing I had to spin my mouse around. Would love to see a longer version!

Is it possible to get a WebGL or Linux version? :)

Very nice visuals, a special attack would have been nice!

Pretty spooky! Had a hard time finding the storage room and managed to glitch around some objects to escape the monster, but I guess that eased my sanity a bit, great atmosphere and sounds was chilling =)

Very interesting game, I love "out of the usual" stuff and this game is no exception. I got ear-raped a bunch of times so it's got that going, somehow I got ~80000 points and the game bugged out. Was fun!
