Good aesthetics and sound design!
Maybe, too short. I wanted to see more enemy persecution :p
Short game, but made well. Just wish there was more of it. Also small complaint, but whenever I use arrow keys and mouse it feels kind of weird, would be good is ASDW was available as well.
This is good. I love games that blend side scrolling with some more puzzle elements. I kept having a little trouble getting the screws off and switches flipped before the monster ate my ass, but I had fun doing it.
Short but sweet. The animation and art was really nice and smooth, and the sound worked perfectly. I was a bit concerned my second playthrough because the character wasn't visible until he stepped off the elevator, and I was afraid he was still at the bottom of the shaft, but he had just spawned in behind it that time around. My main issue was the screw part didn't work as I expected it to, so I gave all the screws a small turn and thought they were done moving, so I clicked around on the panel trying to take it off. I figured it out the second time around, and was much happier about it.
Loved the aesthetic and sound design. The gameplay mechanic of unscrewing the screws was unexpected and I died the first time but I loved the sense of danger it gave me. Super cool idea!
Thanks! The screw part kinda comes as a surprise haha but the animations and audio effects were a blast to put together.
Interesting! The artwork in-game was exceptionally atmospheric! I agree with limitlis on saying the animations of the creatures was also really intriguing!
As for gameplay, it was incredibly short, but worked! Having to repair the elevator felt tense and that little minigame felt far from out of place. It incredibly worked perfectly with the style!
Overall, I feel where this title works as an amazing proof of concept, but not so much as a standalone game in itβs current state. If you flushed out this idea further in the future, I feel you could easily get somewhere with it!
Thank you! The sprites were neat and I had a blast doing the lighting rendering. Definitely lacking substance but was ultimately going for a puzzle escape runner kind of idea, inspired by Dark Deception and Among Us oddly enough. Thank you again for the feedback, I think I'll tinker with the concept a bit more.
Took a few tries but finally made it out! I really liked the animations of the demons/creatures.
Good things its short hehe. The animations were real fun, the monster bite was my favorite.
Interesting concept and the enemy visuals were well done. just a little short would of liked more.
Thanks! I mainly ran out of time, but was playing around with a sort of puzzle escape runner kind of idea.
Although the game was a bit short, the visual and the music are very nice. The game was also pretty stressful !
Thank you! I'd like to workshop it a bit to add some more substance.
Fun game. It ran a bit buggy for me (using Edge on a Windows laptop)- the monster seemed to move at quite variable speeds, and if you fixed the elevator but didn't ride it you could just chill out without getting eaten. The art was fun though, and the bugs actually made it more satisfying to finally win.
Thanks! Good to note, it is a bit scuffed, but I did make the monster speed jitter a bit. That's the secret mode where you can just chill with the monsters hehe.
I would have loved to see more of it! I loved unscrewing the bolts with my mouse, pretty damn close! The first time I didn't make it because I didnt know what was going on but the second one I did :D
Thanks! Yeah I kinda realized after the fact the prompt takes a little to long to pop up entirely. Reading it all takes too long and you'll die. I'd like to play with the idea bit more, kinda like an escape room runner of some sort.
Yea that would definitely be cool!
Enjoyed the art! I almost didn't make it unscrewing those bolts, pretty tense. I died first time not knowing I had to spin my mouse around. Would love to see a longer version!
Thanks! Kinda a lack of instructions at that part haha but makes it a little more tense.
Great atmosphere! Really liked the music and art.
Thank you!
Short but sweet, yeah could have been a bit longer but I enjoyed the experience :)
Thanks! I wanted to get all the pieces in place but didn't have enough time for more substance.
Too short
Yeah sadly its rather short, I would like to expand on the idea a bit to give it some more.
