Thank you Gaia, our team worked really hard on all the aspects =)

I really hope that all the game breaking bugs are gone now *fingers crossed*

Looking forward to play your game on stream in the next days ^^

Thank you so much Outstar for commenting here as well as your tweet. I really appreciate the hard work you do for the community and the developers from the game jam.

Have a nice vacation and happy holidays =)

Thank you for pointing that little continuity error, I will fix it and thank you for the feedback.

It makes me happy to hear that you liked the image for the beginning and frenzy, I was very proud how it turned out 🙂

Thank you, I´m happy to hear that you enjoyed the game ^^

Thank you for commenting twice =)

Thank you Vynn for the feedback, it´s great to hear you enjoyed it so much =)

And also that you took the time to comment here and and the game page ^^

The typos and gramma will be taken care of as far as I can as a non-native english speaker. Hopefully soon ;)

Hey mirta000,
I think you are the first Let´s play of my game, thank you very much for that and I´m happy that you liked it.

The skip issue is unfortunately a default of the visual novel maker and I have to look if a can change it, I did not had the time to do so before the submission.

Edit:

I watched your Let´s play nowcompletely, thanks again, I found the typos now and can fix them and some other little things as well =)

I played Waning Crescent a few days ago and I really love the Artstyle even though it is not complete at some parts of the game.

Another thing I loved about the game is the well-written story.

Like I already said in the stream on friday there are minor UI things to make things more clear like the hightlight on the arrow of the textbox or increasing the contrast of the scrollbar in menues.

After this little nitpicky things there is nothing more to say then thank you for a great story game =)

Thank you, I´m happy to hear that you enjoyed my little story and appreciate the UI that caused me a lot of troubles during the development =)

The journey of a malkavian Childe is beautifully portrait in this visual novel, you did a good job with it. (and I really love the Malkavian Clan ;) )

Like I said in the stream yesterday some little things here and there could be improved to help a bit better to understand whats going on when you are not that deep in all the disciplines and lore.

But over all well done, thank you for your game =)

Your game is awesome, I enjoyed it very much and would love to have more =)

I streamed your game yesterday and if you like you can rewatch that part.

Some minor UI suggestions and usability improvements occured to me while streaming but it definately did not influenced the joy I had while playing.

Also worth mentioning is the great artstyle. Thank you for a wonderful game ^^

Thank you so much for your valuable and detailed feedback =)

I will fix the gramma and typo issues as soon as I can.

Actually I had something in mind for giving the player a hint of what will be effected the choices prior to making them, maybe I can add that if that is an accessibility feature and otherwise I learned so much from this jam and your feedback ^^

Some time management und axiety got definately in my way and influenced the quality of the game, I´ll be better next time ;)

I looked it up in the credits again and I can´t see another person than the Voice Actor in the credits, all the other mentionings are places where the assets are from, as far as I can tell

I can only agree with previous comments, it is a nice little experience with good writting how it could feel to be embraced. Good job!

It´s impressive that one person did this.

The athmosphere is nicely set up with the intro and outro voice over and some of the jump scares got me good.

But good puzzle games are hard to make so a lot of times I felt a bit lost and did not know what to do and what the symbols mean, so maybe some more hints and information for the player would have be nice even though in total it was not that challenging but instead a bit frustrating at times if you just do try and error until something works for a good while.

Props for attempting the challenge and I like your concept for the game.  You have done well Sir! ^^

The style f the storytelling is nicely suptile but clear, the Style of the characters is fitting and with the background you did what you could in the given time and parameters.

Also worth mentioning are the fitting sound and visual effects that were used to underline the events in the game.

Another positive note is the ID of Endings and Gallary with clear indication how you can unlock every entry.

Some little tweaks here and there would we good like the size of some objects and there brightness and some typos but nothing severe occured to me.

I definately recommand playing your game, good job =)

Even though I did not finish the game yesterday and it is a shame that there is no option to save and continue later I enjoyed it very much,
besides minor polish issues like the brightness of some colors or visibility of hover effects over buttons, this is a pretty neat complete game with a lot of references, maybe there could have been a little more V5 lore (can´t say for sure ´cause I did not finish the game)

For sure there are a little balance and convience things that could be better as well but it is a huge accomplishment to get that far in a month.

You did a great job, I really recommend playing your game =)

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it 🙂

The story of your game is very comedic and the art style is pretty fitting. Also the dialog and the voice acting were besides some mixing and normalizing issues very good.

Things that could be improved are clearly a lot of UI things like the starting point of the text and the hover effect of the buttons and so on.
Also I would have been nice to have guidance like how many choices can I make before the final encounter is happening.

All in all a liked the theme and narrative and command you for your effort walking around your town at night to make photos for the backgrounds. Thank you =)

I really enjoyed your game last night, it has this cute pokemon j-rpg style and colors and of course the fitting music.

Also the humor comes across nicely, at least in my opinion ;)

Some little sidenotes though:

it´s good to not have too many choices where to go in the hotel because sometimes there was maybe a bit too much freedom and too less guidance although there was not much you could do wrong

also sometimes a bit unclear if something changed after one interaction with a character or how much time/ interaction are left

All in all its a nice experience and detective frat comedy you guys put together. Be proud of your game, well done and thank you =)

I really enjoy your little game, well done! =)
Here a bit Feedback
Positive:

  • Art Style is really nice
  • the concept is clever and enjoyable
  •  love the detective board mechanic
  • choices & multiple endings

Negative:

  • the beautiful art style is not consisten through the game (photo backgrounds), characters that seem in different stages of beeing finished
  • some text passage sound a bit weird and seem wrong (I´m not a native english speaker and I assume the Developer is too)
    • still the story comes accross and its understandable, still maybe a proofreader should go over text sometime if it is allowed from the jam rules
  • No Credits in the game itself ;)

Thank you for your hard work and neat little game =)

Thank you, this positve feedback means a lot to me. =)
