We made a script which stacked transition sections between levels. Then we just had an exposed array in which we  placed the tilemap levels we designed as their own scenes

This was amazing! The difficulty was tough but really nicely balanced. I also felt so far your submission is by far the most original!

workin on it!

Really neat game! Is it procedural?

Ty! ^^

neat game! though I'm having a tough time cause I don't have my controller handy. I'll try it again in a bit

I can tell! I was seeing it come together in the aseprite discord

seems like there's one more secret you have yet to find ;)

I'll check out your game shortly as well! I'm excited to give it a playthrough

thank you so much! if you try the second build, there is a little secret hidden at the top of the tower if you can find a way to get there. The gameplay is slightly different however

The audio is so fun !!! y'all did a great job with the presentation and polish

Fixed! give it a try now, so sorry about that :<

let me double check that

this project is so beautiful, sick, and amazing, thank you

woot woot!

woot!

looks sick

DAMN! nice work! The creativity on using post processing to show different user states was hype. The cryptic options felt like such an interesting introduction the more you played. The UX is really well thought out. Even though you need to type commands, the game feels really intuitive to control

I've had difficulties setting up the animated examples. The spiral and stars example from github both return static images and I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing?

It's out!!!

Super fun and easy to play! The UI was super satisfying. It's interesting to see a game which actually factors in the emotional toll of making a journey alone over a long distance.

helo

Ahhh tysm noe :

Hi there, you can press the different colored bars on the top, or you can press the different numbers on your keyboard to change your paint brush color :)

haha. In any case, I just uploaded a second version playable in html. Feel free to check it out on my page

I've since made a version which schedules events in a far smarter way to avoid the bug you ran into, but alas I can't reupload :< Would you want to try a version with those fixes?
