Thank you that's really nice!

Really fun gameplay, nice and chill atmosphere as well!

Thanks!

Interesting to try and create a creepy platformer! Would have liked a checkpoint, died fairly far in and didn't want to backtrack all the way back down to finish the game

Thanks for the comment!

Thanks!

Cool art and cool concept! pretty difficult, i really struggled with some of the levels. At least that meant it was interesting!

Really cool idea, and love the art style, very charming!

Thanks! and 100%, art is not my strongpoint at all, wish I had just gotten some pre-made environments now in hindsight

Thanks for the really kind words!

It's definitely a bit too hard and overwhelming for sure. If I had more time I would have made a tutorial or some easier levels. Thanks for the comment!

Thank you! Honestly I'm just glad someone found "Gun" as funny as I did, a sorely overlooked aspect of the game haha

Wow, the art style is gorgeous and the atmosphere it creates with the music is so so good! I wasn't able to beat the game having gotten stuck in a puzzle, but I want to come back to it again and beat it! Gotten yourself a follow on twitter so I can see what you do next

Wow! For me this is definitely the best puzzle platformer of this jam. Very impressive you managed to get this working in the time allocated! From the art to the music to the gameplay it's all great

Thanks! I recorded the music myself so thanks for the compliment

Thank you!

(1 edit)

Cool take on a rhythm game! Some parts definitely broke my brain trying to work it out with both my hands haha. I got the end of the song and it kept going, would have been cool to have an ending to show score or something along those lines instead of continuing in silence

Cute game! Especially loved the noises the enemies made haha

Thank you! Yeah the characters going off screen is a problem, had intended to fix it but never got around to it

Yeah the scanner was the first gadget I created and then ultimately I realised it was kind of the best and it was tough to think of other gadgets that would fit in. Thanks for the comment!

I love quizzes and I love learning things, so this ticked all the right boxes!

Super cool game, definitely one of the most unique i've seen on here so far

Love how it looks and an interesting concept!

Fun game! like the music, and definitely have to give some extra points for having a sweet muscle car in the game

A very risky game for a game jam but one of my favourites! Even had me trying to load the game in Chrome instead of Firefox haha

I love this idea! an incremental game + an autobattler is a genuinely great concept I'd love to see really fleshed out into a full game. I really think that's the kind of game that could be quite successful

Thanks for the feedback! I had intended to make a clearer labeling system in game but just fell out of scope.

Also after putting in too much tutorial text I can't believe the one thing I didn't add was telling you the player could move !

Just to be clear the main robot, sounds great! It's just the little robot that follows you around. If it was a little bit less static-y I think it'd be perfectly fine. And this might just be me anyway :)

I like the post processing effects! maybe a little much at points but apart from that, a fun little platformer with some tricky jumps

Really fun! lovely art and music, I do wish the robot talking noise was toned down a little though because I didn't want to skip it just to not hear it even though I wanted to read the dialogue

Funny concept but I was restarting multiple times to try and play, and the character would get stick in objects really easily preventing progress. Camera control in office is a bit dodgy which didn't help with the character being flung around and getting stuck in objects as well. Really enjoy these kinds of games so would love to see a more cleaned up version!

This is a super cool concept! Can't think I can think off of my head something similar, really neat. Could definitely see myself playing a longer version of this. Art and UI is amazing looking

Cool way to fit the theme!

Thank you! If you could rate the game as well I would very much appreciate it

Really like how chill it is, would love to play more but first run battery runs out so quickly, and then in my second run I upgraded my battery twice and then flipped over going down a hill. Would have been nice to have a way to manually flip myself back up so I could keep going

Can't stress enough how much I love the design of John Lemon. Apart from that game is fun, dashing feels pretty good. Would have been good to have some sort of feedback when shooting John Lemon. First time round I thought maybe the game was broken and I just wasn't doing any damage, but then noticed the score afterwards

Cool idea, controls feel a little too difficult. Really struggled in the middle section fighting the enemies that were flying at you. The angle they were coming in at was outside the attack swing range so took a lot of evading and jumping on a small platform to get them. As others have said really really dark as well, died more to not seeing something than enemies or traps

Hi! Is there anymore information of how to play this? I've started the game and am trying to follow the recipes in the help page but am struggling to figure out how to actually make anything. Are there controls listed anywhere I'm missing? Just want to give it a good try before rating the game down because i can't seem to do anything.

Also a lot of the time when I click resume after clicking the help book the game is quitting
