How does you game fit the theme?
Really? is a fun quiz game where you need to guess which of the news/facts are real or fake by swiping your finger left or right. Questions are randomly selected from a database so feel free to try it out a couple of times.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, only reused a tiny bit of code from previous projects while developing the excel database for the questions. Sound effects are also from a free license library.

This game feels great on phone, and the sound effects were nice. I think adding music would be great, but it was nice anyways.

I enjoyed the sound effects! The cards were all crazy enough to believe they could be fake. It's an interesting idea, but might need something else to do in between rounds, kind of like a breather so the player doesn't tire themselves out. But well done!

I like card games and swipe :)

Fun little game. Felt like I was playing Fibbageif it had a single player mode lol. Would be interesting if you could pull stats from other player playing the game to see how well you did against the global average. Would have also liked to have something to navigate away from the the ending screen. Something like a button to get back to the main menu. Other than that nice work.

Agree, i would love to create an online ranking or statistics. Yeah, the ending heart is badly designed, the player is supposed to swipe the heart to go back to the main menu and retry with a different batch of questions. Hope that disnt't disencouraged you to try again.

Thank you very much for the feedback and trying it out!

Lol I didn't realize you could swipe the heart! A simple fix could be putting the heart on a card. That way the player gets the hint that it is swipeable.

wow never knew i didnt know so many facts

I like the trivia behind some cards

Really nice little game. I love the shuffel animation and also that it already started with the swiping.

So here is another one for you: This game has recieved a good rating. (True)

Very nice idea, really funny to play! One of the better submissions to the jam in my opinion!

Amazing idea! It's Tinder but you swipe for answer to a question!

I like the idea of sliding card for everything! Cool idea!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Got inspired by the tinder app system. For the feedback, did try it out more than once? It picks up the questions randomly from a database.

Submitted

Yeah sure. Some facts just feels unreal, tho

The game is one of its kinda great concept and idea. Rated it!

Would be nice with music maybe.

Also would you kindly help rate mine too? It'd be a huge help!, THANKS a LOT!!!

Developer

Yes, I also had the same thought but ending up removing it because it distracted when thinking about the questions.  Thanks for the feedback. Btw, did you try it out more than once? It shows different random questions each time.

Submitted

Yes yes I did try it out 2 times the questions were different.

Simple and fun! Works great on webGL on my tablet! Couldn't get more than five right tho! The truth really is stranger than fiction.

Good take on the theme and the sound effects you chose worked well. I wasn't able to try it on mobile but I think it'd be a perfect game for short play session on a phone.

RATED!, can you help with mine too?, I'd really appreciate it!, Thanks in advance!

Nice simple game, are all questions really really real? I still have my doubts lol

Developer

Yes, the real ones are hahaha. I should have introduced the bibliographical reference or a fragment from the news. You can check them out online

Really fun! Some things i couldn't believe it was real haha, i just think it needs a replay button at the end, since i had to refresh the page each time i played, but really cool game, nice job!

Developer

Thanks for trying it out! Yes, you are supposed to swipe the heart right or left at the end to go back to the main main. Were you using the buttons instead of swiping the cards? Because that's something I should have taken into consideration while playtesting, the buttons don't work with the heart.

And yes, some of the questions sound unreal, had a lot of fun looking for these amazing news on the internet.

Submitted

Oh, no i was swiping the cards, but i didn't realize i had to swipe the heart too, i was clicking on it lol

Developer

Yes, the heart beating distracts, thank you very much for the feedback!
