Well done Chroute! This is amazing - you've been cookin'!

sent!

Awesome! There's no way to DM on itch, are you on Discord? Just DM me: middlepattern#0356

I'll send you a key. I figure you can just give it to the person who scores the highest?

Rhythm Jam 2 community · Created a new topic Prize Offer?

Hey! I am a bit too bogged to join the jam, but wanted to offer a key to my game as a prize for 1st place. Would you be interested in giving it out? I'm a big rhythm game fan and just wanted to support. Let me know!

Nice! Can't wait to see what you make next. Are you on Discord by any chance? I released a steam game - I'll send you a key!

Thank you! Been a while Chroute - what are you up to these days?

Yep! The only sprite in the game is a white  or purple pixel that is either stretched/rotated. I used in engine settings to get various shades by adjusting the alpha channel, which the rules said was ok. The one thing I wasn't sure about was the font - which has it's own alpha channel. Thanks for playing!

enjoyed

Hilarious game. Still can't get over the looping pants lifting cutscene.

Hilarious concept and well executed!

Fantastic game! Well done.

Hillarious game! Concept and execution were spot on.

Really smooth! Great little idea executed well.

Great idea for a jam, is it possible to give an example of the license(s) you reference when we are uploading?

The first itch.io game I've ever laughed out loud while playing. Very well done, hahaha.

Fantastic game~! Very impressed with the artwork and writing, very charming and the trivia difficulty is at a perfect level for me. Awesome job!!!

I have to agree with the other posters, even though it was super short it was very satisfying.

Very cute. Glad you added restart button for scenes - very smart.

Very tricky and nice simple game!

This is a real testament to the power of interactive narrative. Emotionally very powerful. Spot on writing, art, and historical research. Bravo for taking on difficult subject matter and not watering it down. Really glad you entered.

Wonderful game, unmistakably British flavor. I feel like I could get a pint, talk local politics now and maybe pass as a brit 😄. Minigames were well integrated into the logic of running a campaign, great use of graphics and audio. Very impressive for one person.

Woo hoo! Thanks for the playtest! My first Linux build 😊

Super cute. Superb, accurate graphics. Lovely concept.

Best game I've played so far. Amazing this is your first jam. Very well done! One thing that might help, only because it's a jam, is to maybe show how many levels/puzzles are left. The user might get a sense of how much time they will have to commit, etc.

I have no idea what I was doing but I loved it. The pixel graphics were perfect. I know how long something like this would take to make so well done!

Amazing job. Felt like a classic point and click adventure. Was it done in 3d? Or was it pre-rendered?

Very nice! Really enjoyed the puzzle aspect. Did you think up the mechanics first then design the levels?

Really cool, very good concept

Very cozy, enjoyed the concept.

very cute concept. i liked the chore timer!

Extremely cute.

ahha, don't think i got one mug filled but really liked the concept and art/music. nice tweens on the patrons.

I love this! I really felt quite cozy as I was playing

Haha, a plugin does all the work! That said I had to learn what the hell a Quaternion was and my brain pretty much broke at that 😂

This was actually really neat. I loved the huge vistas you started out in.

Banned for insolence!

The only enemy that 'jumps' at you is the big square. I added that on a lark, it was supposed to be a 'surprise box' that spawned a bunch of random enemies and treasures after you destroyed it -- but I didn't get around to it before the jam ended.

Thanks again for holding a 'busy-person friendly' jam!

Thanks so much! I'll definitely take your advice. Thanks!
