It's a quick but great experience.

The art is amazing, really. The music also fits the game really well. The gameplay itself is pretty basic, with some simple combat and easy-to-use weapons, which goes along with the climax of this short story. Even though you can finish it in 5 minutes, it is fairly imersive, and you feel empathy for the characters, too. The voice acting is incredible, and the dialogues are pretty interesting as well.

Honestly, the only complaint I have is that you didn't put "space to shoot" in the controls in the game's description, so I kinda took some time to figure that out, but other than that there's not much to criticize.

It's not a complex game, but it certainly has it's charm. Nice job!

This is a very creative game!

The gameplay is unlike anything I've played before. I love the way you're writing your own story in this interactive and distinct way. It's really fun to try to find the most credible answer as quick as possible, and to see the funny outcomes for any ridiculous answer you accidentally pick. The dialogue is really entertaining. It's a very simple game, but really really interesting.

You probably know these problems exist, but I'll put them out anyway. Sometimes the player can't go up steep climbs quick enough, so it gets stuck or it teleports. And sometimes, teleporting doesn't solve the problem, for the player falls into the nothing, and you're left with no avatar to pick your choices, making the game just go endlessly to the right with no more dialogue. The second problem is that it's possible to pick more than one choice if you go up while you're in contact with the black rectangles. The lore continues, but it looks weird that it's possible.

Either way, it's a really great game for a couple days. The gameplay is simple yet really fun, and it's clearly a 5/5 in Innovation. Great job!

The concept of the game is pretty simple, but very well used. Most trial and error games quickly become boring and frustrating, but this one could escape the norm. Probably due to the multiple paths you can explore, the game is actually entertaining and makes you curious about how it ends. The controls are consistent, and smooth too, caused by, for example, the ability to jump mid-air if you have not jumped yet since the last time you touched the ground, which makes it possible to smoothly avoid falling ground. The music is like a 5 second loop, but somehow it's not annoying. It does its job. This game is epic for a first project, and above average when we talk about trial and error games. Good job!

I feel like this game has potential.

I think the movement is a bit annoying, tho. Since you can only walk to a direction after you've faced towards it, moving around is really slow, which is a bit frustrating, since you have to go back and fort a lot in this game. There is also some problems with the menu. Selecting items with the mouse often doesn't work, and sometimes the arrows dont take you to the item that's next to the current one, but skip to the item that's 2 or 3 squares away. Also, after I died, a lot of sprites changed, which was weird. These are my main complaints, tho.

I really really like the climax. The art is great, and so is the music, both passing some RPG vibes that I really enjoy. The gameplay is pretty straight forward, with an easy-to-use menu and intuitive fighting, which is a strength. It's also smart that you make small changes to each level's aesthetics, in this case changing their color, which kinda avoids the "this is always the same" feeling. The game is clearly puzzle-based, but adding combat was really cool, it adds some variety and life to the experience.

Honestly, the aspect that made me not get to the end of it was the movement, for it really reduces the pace of the game, imo. Other than that, it's a simple but fairly entertaining game. Nice job!
