well done!

A gamejam is perfectly suited for this kind of experimentation :) And to be honest, I don't think the fact that your project isn't "gamey" in a sense means that it's a worse idea. I think with more time you could develop this idea into both a great game and art piece!

Wait... I won! I had a lot of fun. I wish there was some more usability, like speeding up, pausing, and auto shooting. But, a really fun and well executed tower defense game

It's a really complex simulation but I don't really like it as a game, mostly because it feels unwinnable. I want to solve it like a puzzle, figuring out what the top floor layout could be to have the least amount of squares as possible. But it's hard to figure out the algorithm, I wish there were hints for each floor what the algorithm is. Love the complexity of the game, and the storytelling/message I can interpret from it is really well done as well. Maybe it shouldn't be balanceable or winnable after all? I can see there went a lot of thought into this

As someone who 100%'s Vampire Survivors' achievements everytime a new update comes out, I loved this

I can really recommend getting vampire survivors if you liked this

You can only switch when there's only one axe in the wall, I think we forgot to explain that anywhere. And yeah, I wish getting stuck was way harder than it is. I'm glad you enjoyed the bats though! :)

Cool game! Love the puzzle gameplay and plays smoothly once you get the hang of the controls

Found a small bug (I think it's one), where if you pick up a block and then it's correct you go to the next level while you are technically holding something that would make the puzzle not match, so it's kind of easier to win the puzzle then.

I liked it up until the shooting balls part. I quit there because I kept dying to them.

RSI inducing, but I like the  story/theme take because you play as a tower

I agree, you'd need some kind of restart to make the loop more smooth... What do you think, reset the bats as well or nah? ;)

that was so much fun to play!

Love the color switching aspect it's interesting and unique, what do the lasers do?

Fun to play! What more do you need

Love the art! The gameplay is a bit broken because you can just spam all keys, but it's fun if you ignore that

That's so true, I've only finished it once.  I guess I qualify as a masochist now. Thanks so much for the kind words!

It's definitely a bit tough by design, hope you made it to the tower at least ;)

Cool unique game mechanic

Wow, it seems pretty complicated, it's kind of tough to understand without a good tutorial. Love the music and art

funny dialogue

Nice, I would love to be able to shoot in the middle with a cross to aim

I love that jumping sound

I had little time,  thanks for the good feedback though! I definitely would've added some.

I would have liked less time or increasing time decrease to up the ante a little :p Love the art in this

I've added a windows build

Thank you very much! I wanted to add a tool so you could teleport if you were lost for a little while, though we already made it so you get teleported if you wander off too far.

Thanks! The grey orbs were added as an effort to signal that there's was not much to find that way, but it definitely was a bit too distracting.

Fun game with fun little minigames

Thanks! I wanted to add a tool so you could teleport if you were lost for a little while, though we already made it so you can definitely find your way back if you just keep walking.

Love this one, fun to play

This concept is amazing
