Thank you for your kind Review <3, Aiming and moving being a lil clunky was actually what I was "Aiming for" (Bah Dum Tss). it was a bit smoother but the game posed literally no threat, with the slightly more clunky movement It put a sense of urgency to the player to take things very slow, cause as soon as the player finds out they can just sprint through the whole game without getting hurt, it takes away from it LOL.
First Unreal game I have seen, the art is simple and the filter fits it well, One small thing for this game, would be nice if there was like an Interact sound so I know if i;m actually interacting with something or not, also Multiple times I interacted with something then it just gets stuck in my hands and I cant let go of it or interact with anything else after that, overall tho I liked it!
The whole brain Philosophy thing is intresting, No UI isnt a thing tho, I'm also not sure where Light and Darkness falls, for what it is tho i think its cute i like the simple visuals to it the flowing water is a very nice touch, The enemy has a bit of a lingering hitbox bug or something I died almost a full second after he did lol.
I like this game , art style is very cute and I like the idea of turning on the lights to move on, the Enemies felt a bit to tanky to me tho, made any combat feel a lil clunky and I would just take damage from basicly anything. However, for No UI challenge , you have lots of UI, but outside of that for the theme, i think its cute and fun!
This game turned out to feel super satisfying when you destroy the darkness perfect sound for that, The only thing i didnt like so much, was there was lots of times where i thought i was going to pick up another light orb, but then turns out that was in the background and Was not a light orb, little particle effect or slightly diffrent color or something to make them not look the same would be awesome, but i still did have fun!
