Really cool concept and style with this game! The only thing I would say is  that with puzzle games I think it's important to start of really easy and kind of build your way up in difficulty.  But, really good job on this game! I like it!

Brings me back to playing Flight of the Hamsters in computer class back in school. Awesome game!

Sounds good! Here's my game! Sunshine and Moonlight by ModernRetro (itch.io)

Yeah, I thought about having the controls be on different keys, but kind of kept them spread out for the thought of two people pressing a key on the same keyboard simultaneously. Also, wanted that combo to work on an actual Gameboy Color/Advanced. Something a bit pointless honestly, but I had a little reasoning there. 😂  Anyways thanks for playing and I appreciate the feedback!

I do plan to at least put out the rom. Due to limitations it will have to be GBC only. I’m unsure if I’ll add more levels though. Thanks for checking out the game!

Love the art style! It's very charming, especially the ghost! I also like the extra additions you add to make it more than just a flappy bird clone. Having multiple hearts is nice as well as being able to shoot.

Thank you so much! Part of me was a little iffy on the falling scenes, but I also thought it was just really silly so I leaned into it.

Just diving into the world of Zines and gotta say that this one really stuck out to me. Straightforward, cute art, clean writing, and I feel like it may seem simple, but breaking down tasks in this way can definitely be useful. Awesome Zine!!

Is there a free demo version of Bakin by chance? Or just the $70 version?  This looks super interesting but I don’t have the money for the full version.

Lovely pixel art in this game.  Beyond the addictive gameplay, the music also pushes you to want to keep going after messing up. Really nice work!

Really cool that you made this game as a solo dev. This game has sooo much charm! From the cozy music and friendly art style to the "yippee" sound the character makes when you jump off the ledge. This is a game I would play if I was having a rough day. Very fun and relaxing puzzle game!

Really cool story here. It's relatable and the background sounds really lend to the writing. I enjoyed it and it's always fun to have multiple dialogue options. Really good work!

This is such a creative idea for a game! Very unique concept and I really enjoy the orchestral music! Very well done!

Really cute game! I adore the art style! The controls were a little weird at first, but overall a really solid game with a cool concept!

Really interesting concept! I also really like how you made it so the player can still go through the dungeon after the game over screen to get more accustomed to it. Very nice!

I am going to be honest. I like the concept of the first area when you're going down the creepy and surreal feeling halls as a kid. I think the halls were just a bit tedious because of how long they were. However, after that point, the rest of the game was a joy. It picked up a lot and it really came together as a full package. I really did enjoy this and seeing the growth and with how things change. Super cool. Really great work for being on such a time crunch. You guys did really well!

This was a really cute game! I like that you went for more of a story based approach on this one. The story kept me wondering what was going on and held my interest. The art was super fun too!

This is a really fun and cool concept! This game definitely has a certain "flow" to it! I can see getting sucked in this just trying to see how many fish I can lead at a time. Very nice!

This is actually really good for being done in just 1 day! One of those games those games that is just easy to pick up and play to see how far you can make it!

Thanks for the comment! Honestly, was thinking of breaking this game up into a set list of a bunch of songs/levels. I want to try to do multiple rhythm  games/themes for each set of levels. It’s basic right now but there’s a lot I could expand on from here. But, you’re right. Clicking on beat is where the satisfaction of a rhythm game comes from.

Thanks for checking the game out! It is a bit short for sure, but this is just a demo. There’s definitely more mechanics that I want to introduce into the game.

This game is sweet! Definitely, cute and cozy vibes with this one! P.S. Not a still-life, but I drew SpongeBob. lol

Thank you! I really appreciate it! 🙏 I’ll most likely fix up the controls at some point and continue to work on this one. I have a lot of ideas for how I can build onto this.

Very interesting concept for a rhythm game. Definitely different. Pretty cool to see the background start to fly by a bit when you get goin!  What did you use to make this game?

Thank you! Art is actually one of my weaknesses I feel, so I appreciate the compliment on the graphics. My pixel art is a bit basic, but it was fun trying to do everything myself.  I'll check out your game too!

If you're on mobile, it's "A" on the touch screen. If you're on PC you'd push "Z" on your keyboard.

I really appreciate the suggestions! I'm not quite sure how well collectibles would fit here. But, I definitely plan to add more mechanics to the following floors!

Thanks again for the suggestion. Had to adjust some of the scenes, but it was well worth it. Movement feels a lot better!

Thank you! Also, thanks for the suggestion. I just tried changing the movement to 16x16 and unfortunately it caused a bunch of issues. Might have to readjust the layout of most of the scenes I have set up just for it to work properly.

Love this Tileset! Here’s a demo of the puzzle game I’m working on that uses it! Wayfarer Boo: Pushing Through ( DEMO )

Super cute game! The beauty is in it's simplicity! I think being able to unlock stuff with in-game currency could add to the game. Maybe be able to get new backgrounds or looks for the character you play as. I will say this game is already really fun and addicting though!
