yes,  but alot of jams do this. If something gets submitted on the first day and its a masterpiece of course i will be suspicious

Of course you can scale the screen, but there may only be 256x240 different pixels on the screen.

The only limitations are those mentioned in the rules. Everything else is allowed

Making art can only be done in the selected time frame. If you already have art from previous game jams you can use those.

VR are not allowed iirc.

I know it's possible to do in GDevelop. However, i first wanted to finish everything else, since WASD was not on the top of my list of things to add. Deadline came and WASD did not get implemented. However, if i ever update the game i will definitely add WASD

asset flippin'

Your game is very similar to mine! However, yours actually looks good :)

Due to alot of people liking the game, i may make an upgraded version after the Jam

I will balance the power-ups, create more levels and add wasd controls.

I don't usually watch video tutorials., but i've heard that Wishforge Games makes good tutorials

It was, but the theme is not the only category. You can stand out in the other categories! :)

It lags online due to me being extremely bad at optimizing :p

I never really made games in Unity2D. I have to say that Unity has more documentation and a bigger community. It may also be more powerful. I use GDevelop because of it's event system which i really love. It doesn't have much documentation but what it does have is enough and written very well

I am very confused. When i play the game i do not get any lag, but a lot of other people do.

read my other comments, desktop may run better. Hopefully the lag didn't ruin the experience for you.

try the desktop version, it should run better :)

dont think we need prizes, but if there are, what are they?

lmfao

I believe the theme was announced when the jam started

Alright! Adding a Dani reference is not really required though. Anyway, good luck when rating starts! :)

how do you not know that there was a theme

my man promoting his own game engine :)

I like it! I don't think the music fits the game though, for the rest it is amazing!

I can see you've been watching some brackeys! :)

However, all the enemies are drastically different from each other and i feel that they don't blend together well. It is kinda fun to play, but there is no way to win.

It's fixed now :)

I fixed the lag issue!

I did not experience low FPS. What levels of FPS are we talking about?

That is definitely one of the things i will add after the jam! I already thought about doing it but I kept delaying it so much that it isn't in the game. Anyway, thanks for playing!

It's definitely  fun to play!

I like the game, but i don't know how it fits the theme. The aesthetic difference between the title screen and the game is pretty big too. However, good game! :)

No challenge or way to win, and does not fit the theme. Bad Game.

You have till thursday why would you rush it? Or is it just an excuse.

It looks cool! You are one of the first  to submit a decent game to this jam!

The jam started 2,5 hours ago, how.

Its not for mac. You shouldve read that.

This is its artstyle. You dont need better graphics for a better game
