Another Eliza classic!

The game is entertaining; I suggest you fix up the UI a bit, it's a bit broken but other than that the looks are fine!

I suggest implementing some kind of level and tutorial system if you want to go further with this project.

Quacky Jam community · Created a new topic And so it ends.

Hello! This post will be a thank you and explain the future of our game jam.

First of all, thanks! Hosting this game jam was an amazing experience! I hope everyone involved would say the same. I made this jam for a small chuckle and out of boredom. Imagine how surprised I was when we reached 34 participants. We got a whole 12 entries! That is a 35% submission rate, which is extraordinary.

And so, one may ask the question - "Where will the Quacky Jam go next?" While this is a very curious question, I have not yet been able to provide the answer. All I know is that for the next Quacky game jam, I will bring together a competent group of people. We will make the experience so much smoother, and we hope to return to a bigger communtiy.

Thanks,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Yours Truly, Mr. SeBo.

The game is very good regarding your skill level and the time limit. I encourage you to continue building your skills! I can't wait to see more games from you.

Theme | The theme isn't clearly incorporated, but I can clearly see the vision behind it. I think your next game will be much better!

First Impression | The game is a bit buggy and the graphics are limited, but it is fun to play when you are bored.

The voting will begin after the jam is complete! :D

Amazing!

I love how you incorporated the theme into the game. The SFX and music fit perfectly, and I have to say... the art makes the player focus on the main mechanics.

I will keep an eye for any new games you post, good luck on your journey!

of course!

Anything works!

Everything is up to you!

Quacky Jam community · Created a new topic Theme

The theme for this game jam will be:

Life isn't Fair

Interpret this however you wish - from the main mechanic to a throwaway joke, you can do anything! - Good luck!

Yes! They are allowed.

Sure, but all the responsibility lies upon you.

Haha

:D

Very

haha ;-;

You can do it! Or just submit your game early ;-;

yep

let's say a week

like in how much? Or how long?

I thought no one will find it haha

The theme will be announced on the Title page and as a separate community post. Sadly we haven't set up a discord regarding the event, but you are free to share your discord (regarding this event.)

Yes! The theme will be announced when the jam begins. You are free to interpret it however you want.

(1 edit)

Sure! Game jams are made for developers to challenge and improve themselves with a creative theme, we welcome everyone to our community! I would love to see your game once it's done :D

Looks promising, I can't wait to play it when its finished.

No idea how to code - What engine are you using?

don't expect much from me ;-;

My team finally finished the painstaking process of making art. I was looking for some feedback regarding this title-screen: Alone - A Lonely Adventrue

Thanks in advance!

My partner and I have been working on some art assets for our game. I was looking for some feedback regarding this character:

Thanks in advance!

yep! Make them 4D if you want

Amazing

As a new developer, I would love to be able to follow along with someone making a game in real time. From asking tips to learning tricks, this could bring endless knowledge to the table.

Is anyone gonna be dev streaming the game jam?

Erhem.

That's a really creative interpretation! I'm excited to see what you do with it. Very inspiring ;-;

The theme is "Less is More"

Anyone got any cool ideas yet? I need inspiration ;-;
