This would make such a splendid release on the Switch. I love everything about it.

This is the best. I want to ram pipes now. Help.

https://blek.itch.io/five-seconds-till-doom This does it pretty well

Morbid, but fun

It is a cool idea and looks pretty good, tho I have some gameplay complaints to make and some general ones:

-Barrels move too slow, which makes replaying some parts painfully annoying.

-A system for slow and fast movement would be cool, so i don't have to crawl around save parts.

-Shots should not be so inconsistent with their path, the spray is pretty strong which often makes for a stay shot that messes up 3 minutes of pin point precision.

-The Sound Listener should not necessarily be on your camera or the sound producer(the shot sound source on the player) needs to be moved directly to the camera to have consistent audio volume.

-The Sound of the shots is very monotone, and was annoying to me personally, which is very subjective.

-You crosshair should be displayed over all other assets, which it isn't the display order seems to be around this: background>floor>crosshair>everything else while it should be: background>floor>everything else>crosshair

PS.: I like that you can push multiple barrels at once, that's pretty cool

Cool Idea, but very glitchy.(for example, enemies  can shove you out of the spaceship and while they can just fly over walls and outside into outer space, you have to glitch back in)

Kinda doesn't fit the theme, since enemies are usually out of your controll.

I like the art style quite a lot.

I would recommend a better feedback on hitting your enemies, since that seems very bare bones and isn't that fun. Some Sprites with a sound or even screenshake would be cool. But currently it feels like you are shooting BBs. You could also make the gun stronger instead of making you shoot like 10 times per enemy. And provide less ammo.

Sound effects made me giggle.

Funny Idea, very creative.

Would like more playability as in, different maps, different enemies, and gun boys not just standing and waiting to shoot me down, maybe also more variety to them.

PS.: I had some enemies spawn outside of the map, so there might be a problem with that, too. Also make sure that enemies don't spawn on screen, feels unnatural.

(1 edit)

Spawns of "enemies" around you can be pretty annoying. Maybe a system that prevents that would be good.

A little glitchy on the movement. (For example you can easily glitch out of the map with a speed boost)

Funny idea, but sadly it didn't feel that fun to play, yet!(could certainly become more fun)

Liked the idea.

Edit: fixed brackets

I really liked the idea, and generally it was fun!

By maybe color coding specific words or have background changes, it could have helped to anticipate the situation. I would like to try a more refined version of this idea with maybe a slight bit more to rely on than my language skills.
