Was thinking the same thing. Most of the "negatives" make the game shine at the moment, excluding the obviously still under developmental features mentioned.

I'm glad there's obscure, non-in-game explained ways to refresh the UI. Thanks

This is what it means when a game is unpolished at it's roots.

Bug for devs.

The UI when talking to Toni can completely disappear. See image attached. Talked to her about the first topic, ended convo, UI came up and disappeared like it was intentional; you know, the slower transition down and to the sides. Didn't just pop out of existence.

Gotta shoot the game down via task manager to fix this issue.

And this comment goes straight for the devs: Make The Bed Smaller. Every single misclick in that room is a potential to waste a whole day of a week. Just make the clickable part be the pillow or something or at the very minimum add a prompt of "Are you sure you want to end the day?" to clicking the bed.

Honestly just an amazing game if you don't manage to misclick once and literally destroy the game so you have to shoot it down via task manager and apparently destroy your 8 hour save

The sprite-like images, 80's Miami vibe really works. It's a beautiful game with solid mechanics. Every single minigame lacks a tutorial, so you're totally failing your first 3 or so weeks in the game in regards to each and every single one of them, but the minigames works when you suss out what the underlying mechanics actually are.

Be careful what you click in this game. There's a lot of transition screens which can be clicked away, but if you click, say during a transition away from a vacation event or just accidentally double click the last message of a vacation event, you're going to be clicking your bed. This creates a loop of "hey, what do you wanna do on this day" and double music and overlapping overlays that cannot be gotten rid of sometimes.

If, after this problem, you shoot he game down via Task Manager, there is a chance to lose all your saved data. It's just finicky this way. For instance, I personally just lost an 8 hours long playthrough.

There's also a multitude of QoL things that could be done, such as standardizing in which situations you back out of conversation screens and in which you don't, since this is decided by the devs apparently by throwing a dead swordfish at a wall and seeing which one sticks to a sticky note with the words "Fuck The System" in it. Or just plain giving the player a phone to use so the player could check their daily calendar to-do's when they're out of the house instead of having to go through a multitude of screens to get back to your own room and click an actual calendar on the wall. Window. Whatever it's stuck to. Beautiful room, though.
Or put in a button that takes us straight to the players room. Yeah, that would work as a workaround.

Despite all this vitriol I've vomited here like a southern giant petrel, this game is honestly just gorgeous and no amount of bugs, terrible quality of life in gameplay or losing save files is going to keep me from becoming the mother fucker and brothers girlfriend tag-teamer I am destined to become in this game. 10/10.

Edit: Almost forgot to say. MANUALLY SAVE FREQUENTLY. The autosave function works 50/50. I've started again from a part where people go on a hike for about 4 times because the game hasn't autosaved during the 2 weeks after that.

The more trust you have, the more animations you get. The cap for some of the animations is INSANELY high.

I still believe the files are downloaded from Itch's own servers, since the app doesnt give an error about the files being hosted on 3rd party sites. Looks to be a fairly recent thing as well, so we can easily say there's something wrong with the servers this game is being downloaded from.

Nothing Lustration can do about it, really.

For info if anyone is looking to try this, right now the game only has a couple of scenes and about 5 minutes worth of play. More like a tech-demo, really, than even pre-alpha.

The pixel-art is great, though.

Problem is that the first part talks about yellow barrels. If you count them all, even the dirty ones, it's 6, not 3. Seven is in a different area, not the sellers area.

Shhh, dont bring this up, it might get fixed! At the moment this infinite wine thing is the only way you can actually enjoy the game. Good luck trying to get Jay's trust to 600's without it when one bottle gives only 4 trust.

On PC, F in front of it.

So this needs some more work. There is only one location, a girl comes around randomly to berate you and finally beats your ass because you cant buy enough potions to tough her out. Only a few animations.
Potential, needs a ton of work to be playable at the moment.

How do you actually 3 star even the first one? I keep getting the biggest souls you can and tossing them in, yet this way it's not possible to get the 3 star clear it seems. The physics of throwing seem to be a bit off as well; sometimes the balls just refuse to leave the pot.
EDIT: Okay, so now I got the gist of this. It's all down to luck; if the little cauldron doesn't give you bigger souls all the time, you cannot get 3 stars. If you play this game, just forget about trying; throw balls in as they come and hope you get the bigger scoring ones.

I'm sorry, but do you really? One of the images on this page, the dark-haired one licking a dick with the dick between her breasts, has so much artefacting that it's actually ugly.

Since there's no place other than the comments where I could drop my errors, here.

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

Shuggerlain - Beyond time 0.50

Sun Aug  4 16:59:26 2024

DC lives rent free in many heads.

That would explain it; public version is 0.4.1 when downloading from the itch app.

There's an option for skipping the minigames, which is great. What isn't great that it doesnt skip Tailwind, the most RNG game I've played in a while.

Please fix this. I've been trying to beat Lauren in it for almost an hour now and it's just not possible; when she gets to single digit ship numbers, the minigame starts handing her turns cards that massively either give her shield or ship

As someone who has played quite a bit of virtual casino on different platforms, I can't give this game a good score. The bots are always skewed against the player in a major way; there's no way that 20/20 hits in blackjack in a hand you a 10-value card when you're 12 or over.

Guys, it's a porn game. Skew it towards the players side, not against.

Edit: Also, add a "skip all animations" button. Knowing you cannot win 17 in this game and having to watch the dealer hit is just aggravating.

Edit2: And then you put the actual animations behind a paywall when the player manages to grind this terrible system to V.I.P. Wow, this is probably the most scammed anyone can feel.

I'll be completely honest; I'm way too shit at this game. The gameplay is great, I love it to bits, but I cant seem to get lower than 4 floors max until I'm dead.

Okay, I gave this a fair shot, but the game is extremely unplayable. I made it to the first time you see a policeman in the beginning and the woman berates you. At that time I had already gone through two gauntlets of renpy errors due to assets apparently not being defined properly. After that I was clicking on "ignore" on the errors for almost 3 minutes straight, not doing anything else.

I couldnt continue. This game should not be listed if it's this broken.

Gotta sau the same. It's just basically not letting me make a new game when I havent yet started it even once.

Has anyone encountered a bug where the UI is all messed up? For instance, no matter how many times I reinstall the game fresh, the wardrobe menu just shows one hair option which cannot be clicked. No upper menus, submenus or anything like that.

Tried running with -screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-height 900 -screen-width 1600 to see if the problem was my resolution; no dice, same problem. This affects, for instance, all shops, the computer menu (if I click on "experiments" it's pretty much game over; theres no way to click on "Locations" again).

Game worked just fine a couple of days ago.

Ah, found it. For anyone wondering, this game cannot be played in 3440x1440 mode; most menu items will not show.

How do you actually start the game? I'm in a screen where I can do customization of monsters, use inventory or shop, but there is no indication on how to proceed to actual gameplay. No button aside from these are present and nothing I press on the keyboard or mouse does anything. There is nothing clickable on the table, either.

Warning to others with ultrawide monitors; you effectively cannot play this game with an ultrawide screen. No way to choose the resolution and much of the screen is cut off from top and bottom.

Some must-haves:
- Way to move the window to another screen or freely move neko.
- Ability to change app resolution. On ultrawide theres no way to change most settings since the settings window only shows things below "Neko size".

This is an excellent game, even in it's alpha stages. Quite a bit of content present, the hotel minigame is fun.

I've been playing this for a couple of days now. The shrine maiden Alice seems to be bugged in the public 0.3.0 version (never seen her at the shrine since she was introduced) but otherwise it's been a real banger.

The animations are great, which was a surprise; by the aesthetic I thought this was another lazy Koikatsu game, but it really surprised me with the level of animation.

Please check the download links here on itch.io. At least v0.16.2.2 — Latest Public Release does not work.

There doesnt seem to be any way to actually close the spellbook. ESC opens the settings menu, right mouse button does nothing, clicking out of the spellbook bounds doesnt do anything and there is no button for closing it.

Easymode is often preferred due to the feeling of completion it gives. Just scenes without context aren't as great as scenes with the context gained from interaction. Maybe an easy mode?

I have no idea what was just said here.

Since this is the first thing that popped up in Google for me, I'll add the screenshot of the puzzle from the walkthrough here.
