Weird... what browser are you on? I don't have this issue on Chromium, only on Firefox.

Didn't realize someone else already made a post about this. Are you also on Firefox, by chance?

This has been tripping me up for months now, and I finally decided to look into it...
Nearly every time I type a long sentence into the body text of a post, it comes out with weird formatting, creating weird newlines where they shouldn't be. You'll probably see them on this post. I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out what could be causing this, but I just figured it out. Take the following text:
Only XInput/Xbox controllers are officially supported by me. However, theoretically, any gamepad that is officially supported by Godot should work, you just won't get the correct button hints or button prompts.
It's just a normal sentence, in which I used the spacebar to create spaces. If you look at it in code:
Only XInput/Xbox controllers are officially supported by me. However, theoretically, any gamepad that is officially supported by Godot should work, you just won't get the correct button hints or button prompts.
(EDIT: The nbsp characters only show up in the code when pasting the text in the post body itself, go figure... putting the text through a hex editor like HxD shows that sometimes `A0` (non-breaking space character) is where `20` (space) should be.)
And I didn't do anything to it afterwards. This has been an issue for me on Firefox for months now, and the only fix I've found is to switch to Chrome, which I do not wish to do.
I thought this might've been an issue with one of my extensions, but the issue still occurs even on a clean install of Firefox.
OS: Windows 11 Home (24H2)
Browser: Firefox 135.0.1 (64-bit)
While the experience looks nice, I can't confirm whether it is or not. The lack of a tutorial or pause menu causes me to just fiddle around with my buttons, 90% of which open the chatbox. Lots of bottles came into my island, but I had no idea how to send one back. I still don't! The game also causes my PC to sound like a helicopter, and a graphical menu would do wonders for allowing me to limit FPS/resolution. Ultimately, a great idea, but a lack of basic features leaves a terrible taste in my mouth after it.
Currently, it's not possible to create a "sale" for those who own a certain project. For example, say someone buys a game from a developer. Then a few years down the line, the developer remasters the game and wants to offer a price drop to those who own the original game. This was done with The Stanley Parable and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe on Steam. In itch.io, it's not possible to *fully* do this.
What you can do currently is send out an email to everyone who owns a copy of the game with a coupon link to a sale, but this is hardly ideal, especially since there's no way to check if the person visiting ever actually owned a copy of the original project.
What I'm proposing is a way to create a sale specifically for those who own a specific project developed/published (or at least credited) by the same person who made the sale. If they have an itch.io account, that'd be ideal, but it could also be possible for those who only use their emails without an account by requiring email verification.
I really wanted to try this, but the game kept forcing the camera to continually spin right and I flew up in the air trying to get down the stairs, which landed me right behind the woman at the bottom who you can't get past. It seems like an interesting concept, and I'm glad to hear other people enjoyed it! I just had issues with it. :/
