Hello rezties. Thank you very much for your comment.
I want to develop more games featuring this theme.
There are even 2 further projects designed, however, for certain aspects I'd need programming assistance.
For example, one is designed as a 3D adventure - puzzle game,
but to create this, a fair amount of coding would be required.
Oh! You must mean "Girls & Dungeons" . ^^
- "Dungeons & Girls" is a different game from different developers. No relation.
It's weird that 2 different games ended up having such similar names, huh?
This character is in the game as cows and snakes have a difficult relationship. A snake can be dangrous to a cow, but sometimes a cow can also eat a snake.
Here's a screenshot for you.
Hello there, thank you very much.
Oh, Nebelsoft not a company per-se, but a small jp doujin circle. (for indie- games) We are part of it.
You are doing a postdoc research on Milky Monogatari? Wow, that's very unusual. ^^ Not something I thought I'd ever read.
I hope this is helpful.
Oh her? Her design sure is inspired by a mythical Medusa. She is a magician, super sneaky and quite powerful.
I suppose, you should better find out about her role yourself.
Hi paxogre,
thank you for taking the time to report those game breaking bugs to me, and in such a precise way, too.
I fixed both issues easily, well in case of the Tuterminal that meant removing the rename feture. But that's better than a broken battle screen.
I also lowered the final boss's defense and m-defense so that the party's damage output should be higher in that fight, to shorten it a bit.
Again, so kind of you to tell me this, I appreciate it a great lot.
I will upload the edited version later today.
Thank you so much for playing and taking the time to provide me with such valuable feedback! o.o Oh wow that is wild! Those are some really good bugs you caught there! ^^ haha - REALLY good ones, I shall check them out asap and, fortunately, it sounds like the most surprising ones should be the easiest to fix. The cow thing in the shadow realm is a bit tricky, I might have to think of a better 'puzzle' for this place... I was afraid the cow could 'break' easily, but I didn't invest much time in testing that scene. But the thing is, the place where the cow ends up ( without you speaking to her again) if you walk around that place, this is where the map's exit should be, on the path.
Thank you for the praise but to be fair, I already had all the assets from previous attempts at the game / older versions .... : P This time I just thought let's make a version that actually has a beginning, middle and end.

Gotta jump high! We recently released an open beta for this little retro platformer parody game.
If you like jumping high, and a decent challenge, then this might be the game you have been waiting for.
Free!

Howdy fellow creative minds and game enthusiasts!
I would like to take this opportunity to connect with nice people, bouncy bosom-buddies, who like my work, RPGs, and are happy to share their feedback and ideas with me.
About me - I am a pixel artist and mostly solo dev, although I do have supportive friends and colleagues. I have started work on this project at the beginning of this year. ( man, time flies by ) This would be my 3rd "big title".
2021 is the year of the Ox - so inspired by this, I wanted to make a game featuring a courageous cow girl. Due to some uh... charming misunderstanding and much creative freedom, this, turned into 4 lightly robed voluptuous cow girls.
After considering the feedback I received, uploading the first version of Milky Monogatari, I went back to the drawing board to make some changes. A lot of changes actually. I was not sure about the narrative / writing nor if the gameplay was fun enough. So I let it mull over in my head and came up with something I think is a bit more engaging overall. The first change I had to made was, change the main protagonist, at least on the surface. You are now playing Guy, a middle aged dude that seems more like a bored, generic villager.
Your party will now be bigger, and there are shops to buy equipment etc. There is still crafting, dynamic battles with enemies that visibly get more exhausted, but the view is now side-view instead of frontal. It's still an odd adventure. I put much care into the pixel art, especially the various, diverse monsters that can be encountered.
And also, there is still no graphic sexual content in the game itself. Not saying there can't be at some point in development, but for now there's not. Big breasts tho. Characters with b i g breasts. That's... just because I like it and why it is Milky Monogatari.
Good job, very creative. ^^ Seeing the enemy health gave me a bit trouble, it's not so easy to spot. But I loved your humorous intro scene and sound effects! The premise (partly) made me think of Utawarerumono... but you'd only understand if you played that, lol. Oh yes, I also did not realise there was a bottom floor at first ^^
Hi, thanks a lot! ^^ ( artist here ) Happy you checked out our game! There were actually 3 (or 4, counting the photo girl ) more playable characters planned, that would feature different mechanics and play styles. (Among other things) But that turned out to be a bit much, for the jam's time limit. However, it still was a very fun project to work on.
Oh, thank you : )
I just used the original's character art and animations as a reference, and thought about how to best present them in the limited space. 'Made some rough concept sketches of simplified, chubby SD versions of everything and then interpreted those in pixel art (sprites) with some strict limitations.
This is so beautiful ;_; The vivid colours and happy animations are really appealing. But is there really a way to get past stage 3? ^^; I lost all my lives there... getting stuck so early. Or are there only 3 stages, maybe? ~ For some reason it reminded me more of Sega Mega Drive than NES. Maybe the palette.
So it's basically "Rival Schools" meets "Bully", featuring -as the name would suggest- nerds. Amazing that it was put together in a week. It seems simplistic, gameplay-wise but it has good animations and pretty dope low-poly models with lovely textures and everything. The background looks great, too. Don't know if everything was hand made from scratch, but from the visuals, it looks very PS1. You could fool someone with the screenshots any gameplay, that it's a lost PS1 game. Only thing that could need improvement here is the music, which - is good music but - doesn't really seem to fit.
